How do you feel when you read headlines from around the world? Overwhelmed? Heartbroken? Helpless?
On Mission Sunday, June 7, we’ll hear directly from mission partners serving in the Middle East and Asia — people ministering in some of the world’s most challenging places. Through their stories, we’ll be reminded that even in the midst of hardship, God is bringing hope and transforming lives.
We would love for you to join us for one (or all!) of the following opportunities:
-Morning Services at Mariner-
Join us as Ben and Rachel share about serving in the Middle East, the challenges and hope they experience, and provide an update on projects supported through our Christmas Eve Offering. We’ll also hear from Ahmad as he shares how believers in the Middle East are responding to crisis with courage and the hope of Jesus.
-Kids Church at Mariner-
Mission Sunday is for kids too! Ben and Rachel’s children will join our Kids Church classes to share what it’s like growing up as part of a missionary family in the Middle East and help our kids learn more about God’s heart for the world.
-Town Centre-
We’re excited to welcome back Eric and Becky as they share how God is at work through their ministry in Asia. We’ll also hear from Ahmad about the underground church in the Middle East, and receive an update from Pastor Alex on CA’s Local Mission ministries, including the Community Cafe.
-Stories of Impact at Mariner – Sunday 6:00pm-
All campuses are invited to this special evening featuring additional stories from mission partners serving in the Middle East and Asia, plus updates on Local Mission ministries. Join us for new stories, ministry updates, and a deeper look at how God is at work around the world.
