The Tapestry Mundy Park

The Tapestry Mundy Park We are a diverse and vibrant new community of faith, woven together into the Tapestry of God's story

Tapestry Mundy Park is a multi-ethnic, multi-generational church centred in Christ and living for the glory of God. We are a community woven in faith, inspired by hope and motivated by love. Our vision is to see every facet of life flourish as we live the Gospel Story with courage, calling and conviction. We seek to be radically shaped by the grace of God so that we worship God wholeheartedly, lov

e one another deeply, and care for our city generously. Being guided by our core values of Diversity, Creativity, Curiosity, Authenticity, Reality and Love in Action, we intend to be a neighbourhood church that practices hospitality, celebrates the arts, seeks spiritual renewal, cultivates restorative communities, and cares for creation.

Uncle Fatih himself in the house—treating our staff to some seriously delicious free pizza! 🍕

Such a gift to hear his story and the heart behind his business. Grateful for moments like this that remind us food is more than food, it’s community, generosity, and passion.

We invite you to pause and reflect as we enter Lent together.

“On this Ash Wednesday Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.” 🩶

Yes, We are dust, but we are held together by the breath of God.

And because of Jesus, dust is not the end of our story. Resurrection is!!

May we set this season apart to renew our hearts, refocus our lives, and dwell deeply on our Lord Jesus Christ.

Tapestry family, our Lenten booklets are now available for you to pick up at church. You can also access them online through our website and social media. We pray this resource helps you slow down, reflect, and draw closer to Jesus in this sacred season.

There will be no Ash Wednesday service tomorrow, but we invite you to still set aside intentional time to pause, pray, and reflect as we begin this Lenten season together.

As a church, we’ll be journeying through Lent using our Lenten devotional booklet. Physical copies are available in the lobby if you’d like one, and a digital version is also available online here: https://www.tapmundypark.ca/lentenbooklet

May this season be a time of renewal, repentance, and deeper closeness with Christ. Let’s walk it together.

We are devastated and deeply grieving the tragic loss of life at Tumbler Ridge. Our hearts ache for the school community, for the educators, administrators, friends, and families whose lives have been forever changed. Lord, bring supernatural comfort to every person who have been affected by this tragedy.

We lament the violence that has come to our community. This tragedy shakes something foundational in us—our assumption that our children are safe in their schools, that such violence happens elsewhere, not here. Lord, we bring you the loss of that sense of safety.

We acknowledge the weight of compounded grief. Many of us carry sorrow from other tragedies near and far—violence in communities across the world, ongoing conflicts, losses that haven’t yet healed. This fresh heartbreak lands on ground already tender.

When the heartbreak feels unbearable, when the questions of our young people have no easy answers, and when senseless violence shatters our sense of safety, we turn to you Lord. We bring you our questions, our grief, our longing for a safer world. We confess we don’t understand.

Lord, be our refuge and our strength. Be near to those who are mourning. Heal what feels broken beyond repair, and wrap this community in your mercy and peace. Sustain us when hope is difficult. Give us courage to work toward the world you intend—where children are safe, where life is protected, where peace prevails. Lord, have mercy.
