The GO Project

The GO Project Children's Adventure Camps: For children in grades 2-7, our day camps focus on themes of justice and peace in our community and the world.

An opportunity for children and youth within the United Church of Canada to engage with their communities and the world, discovering what their passions and gifts are to make the world a better place. Children experience service and outreach projects throughout the week while discovering where God is calling them into action in their own lives. Our children's camps are in a variety of locations in

the Maritimes, Southern Ontario, Saskatchewan and Alberta. Youth Mission Programs: Youth in grade 9 to age 19 and their leaders are invited to our 8 or 11-day programs where they will live, work, worship, and break bread together as they explore themes of service, faith and community activism. During the 8 or 11 days we will explore where God is calling us into action in our lives and how we can be the change within our world.

Our Ottawa trip was filled with opportunities to serve, learn, and grow together. We spent the week helping on a local farm, packing pastries, baking cookies, preparing soup, organizing clothing at the uOttawa Free Store, and leading Sunday worship. Along the way, we also took part in workshops that deepened our understanding of mental health, equity, and caring for the environment. Every experience reminded us that putting faith and love into action can make a real difference in our communities and in ourselves.
