Form a working group to manifest widening our Circle of Welcome , collecting and sharing resources and how to bring them to the CV Unitarians, and get our Welcoming Message out to the CV Community.

The annual Have a Heart production with Gloria Herauf and the Beach Street Players is returning to Comox United Church. Dates for THE WORLD NEEDS A SONG! are February 6 and 13 at 7 pm and February 7,8 and 14 at 2 pm. Once again, the revenue will be shared equally by Comox United Church and Strathcona Sunrise Rotary Club. Come out and enjoy a performance filled with fun and laughter, and great harmonies.

Tickets are $25 and will be available at Benjamin Moore House of Color and Blue Heron Books beginning January 2 and every Sunday after church beginning January 4

Winter Solstice is a Time for Celebrating the Return of Light

Be here this Sunday for 4:00 start* for our Joy of Community Dinner

Service including offerings of music and readings, and a little theatre.

Our Chalice Lighting will spark the Beginning of the Gathering at 4:00, as will the lighting of the

menorah to mark the last day of Chanukah. Greg will be there to help with a microphone so you can hear. Otherwise, very low technology.

This time of year reminds us of loss and darkness in the World and it is a time of change. Come share in the Community and fill up your Cup to start the Coming Year. It is about joy, but b

ring your authentic self, grumpy or sad or indifferent. We need each other.

We are supplying Chili, corn bread, and some veggies, tea and decaffeinated coffee.

*If you are bringing something to share, food (appies and desserts needed), drinks, music,

a reading , or something else please arrive at 3:40. See Barbara or Jane when you arrive.

We are also looking for a couple people to stay and sing with Heather and Barbara during kitchen cleanup following the event.
