The 2026 theme, 𝑯𝒐𝒑𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, invites us to move from inspiration to commitment — one concrete step at a time.

✨ 2023.01 Combating Textile Waste in Canada — urging federal programs and subsidies to reduce textile waste
✨ 2022.01 Reduce Food Loss and Waste — calling for legislation to reduce food waste across Canada’s agri‑food sectors
✨ 2019.02 Support for the UN Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons — urging Canada to sign and ratify the treaty
✨2018.02 National Standards for “Flushable” Products — calling for clear testing and labelling standards

Tuesday, May 12, 2026 (5:00 pm EDT) Ignite Your Passion, Empower His Mission: A Reflection on the National Theme Webinar

Hosted by Karen Rossiter, National Chairperson of Faith With speaker Sister LIbby Osgood, CND.

Through reflection, visio divina and small group discussion, we will consider the national theme prayerfully and collaboratively.

✨ What does it mean to ignite our passion?
✨ How are we poor in spirit?
✨ How can we individually and collectively work to empower His mission?

Sister Libby Osgood, a sister with the Congregation of Notre Dame and engineering professor at the University of Prince Edward Island, will lead us in prayer and reflection.

Look for this box in our hall foyer and feel free to drop off donations for both moms and babies throughout the month of May. Collection will end the evening of our next gathering May 25 and goes to Our Lady of Guadalupe Home for Mothers and Babies, Windsor. Thank you in advance! 💙

Looking forward to meeting Bishop Miehm!

Visiting the Diocese of London today and was blessed to get a tour of the beautiful St. Peter's Cathedral Basilica. I look forward to being back for the Mass of Installation on June 29th, the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul. For now....still a visitor!
