Our Bazaar is coming up soon so mark your calendars. The AutumnFest Bazaar is taking place on Saturday, September 26 from 9 am to 2 pm at Visitation Hall, 5407 Comber Side Road, Comber. There will be Homemade Baked Goods with a great variety of fruit pies, tarts, loaves, cookies & more. Check out the 20+ Vendors with handmade crafts! Take a chance at the Penny Sale table with 60 prizes to be won. You can also buy a ticket for the Main Raffle and win CA$H as well as take a chance to win Grocery Gift cards. Lunch will be available including meat pie and there will be FREE Coffee & Tea all day. Free Surprise draws throughout the day just for attending. Hosted by the Visitation CWL. Check out the flyer.

A perfectly beautiful and glorious day to pray for our priests and their religious vocation at the Merlin Shrine today. Thank you to all our CWL sisters for their presence at this Diocesan event. Northwestern Ontario is facing a devastating and rapidly escalating wildfire crisis. Over the past three weeks, thousands of families have been forced to evacuate their homes, unsure of what they will return to or what will remain.

Entire communities are living with fear, uncertainty, and profound loss.

We ask all members of the Catholic Women’s League—and all people of faith—to join us in prayer for those affected.

May God’s protection surround the evacuees, the vulnerable, and all who are displaced.

We also lift up in prayer the brave firefighters, first responders, Indigenous leaders, and local officials who are working tirelessly to protect lives and communities. May God grant them strength, safety, and endurance in the days ahead. 💙🙏
