The annual event of the Season of Creation begins on September 1 (World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation) and ends on October 4 (Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of ecology).

This year’s theme is “Living Water” and the symbol is “Immersion in Living Water,” inspired by Ezekiel 47: 9 and 12.
