It is bread for the hungry soul.
Water for the thirsty heart.
Medicine for the wounded places.
The way when we feel lost.
Light when darkness tries to speak louder.

Jesus did not give us the Holy Spirit so we could live a comfortable Christianity.

He gave us power to become witnesses.

Not just people who attend church.
Not just people who know the right words.
Not just people who believe quietly.

Witnesses.

People whose lives make Jesus visible.
People whose words carry boldness.
People whose actions show transformation.
People who are filled by the Spirit and sent to others.

Acts 1:8 reminds us that the power of the Holy Spirit is not for performance. It is for mission.

This week, ask yourself:

Who needs to see Jesus through my life?
Who needs to hear what He has done in me?

Holy Spirit, make us bold. Make us faithful. Make us witnesses.

The Church was not born from strategy, talent, or human strength.

It was born in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus told His disciples to wait because the mission ahead of them could not be carried by natural ability alone. They needed dunamis power. They needed the Spirit upon them. They needed the baptism of fire that turns fear into boldness, weakness into witness, and ordinary people into vessels of God’s power.

The baptism of the Holy Spirit is not about becoming more saved.

It is about becoming empowered.

The gift of tongues is not the whole purpose. The purpose is overflow. Prayer. Boldness. Spiritual gifts. Witness. A life surrendered to making Jesus known.
The same Spirit who filled the upper room is still available today.

Ask. Wait. Receive. Overflow.

This Sunday at Impact Church Cochrane, we were deeply blessed by a powerful word from Pastor Phil of : “Empowered to Be a Witness.”

This was more than a message — it was a call to rise, to carry the love of Jesus boldly, and to live as living testimonies of His transforming power.

This reel shares a powerful story of conversion and reminds us that God uses ordinary people to reveal His extraordinary love. One life surrendered to Jesus can become a witness that leads many others home.

What an amazing baptism service we had!!! 🙌

Seven incredible people got baptized and publicly declared that their lives belong to Jesus. One more person gave their life to Christ, and we’re so excited about what God is doing in Cochrane.

A special thank you to all the students from and Pastor for flying all the way from Oshawa, ON, to bless our town of Cochrane.

There are no words to describe what the Lord did this weekend, and we can’t wait to see what’s ahead.

What happens when the Holy Spirit lives in you?

He gives assurance when the enemy tries to bring confusion.

He brings transformation when your past tries to define you.

He gives power when your willpower runs out.

He opens your understanding so the Word becomes alive.

He gives gifts, not for performance or status, but for serving others and building up the Church.

He brings comfort and guidance, teaching us when to go, when to stop, and when to wait.

The Holy Spirit is not an occasional visitor. He is the presence of God living within those who belong to Christ.

Pause. Listen. Yield. Obey.
