They were too small for the hospital to treat them…

Triplets, Bernadette, Christine, and Adam were born prematurely. They weighed less than a pound each.

“They came out, full of life, and moving around… I kept on hoping that they might be the only triplets born at 22 weeks to ever survive…”

But from the moment they were conceived to the moment they passed in their parents’ arms, they were loved, protected, & cherished.

Just 4 months after getting married, Jason and Marie Taylor discovered they were pregnant with triplets!

“We were just really, really excited…”

They discovered they were having two girls and a boy and quickly named them.

The doctors mentioned “selective reduction,” but the couple refused.

“That was really upsetting to us both since we so eagerly anticipated our children…”

The day after her 22-week ultrasound, Marie started experiencing “sharp little pains” across her abdomen that became increasingly regular. That evening, they went hospital.
Doctors told Marie that she was 4 centimeters dilated and in labor. The babies were coming.
Because they were triplets, their gestational development was delayed, and their little lungs weren’t developed enough.

Doctors told them that when born, the babies would not benefit from medical intervention.
The parents prepared to meet their children and spend as much time with them as they could.
“They came out, full of life, and moving around…I kept on hoping that they might be the only triplets born at 22 weeks to ever survive, but they faded quickly.”
Despite the deep sorrow of having to let their children go, the parents were nonetheless taken aback by how perfectly formed their little children were, with perfect little noses, tiny toes, dainty fingers and fingernails, and most of all, beautifully lovable faces.
“We just held the babies. We cried. We looked at them. We studied them. We talked to them. We baptized them. And…we loved them.”

Bernadette, Adam, and Christine were loved, respected, and cherished for every moment of their short lives.

They were buried together in a little wooden coffin made by their uncle.

Anyone who listens to their story will hear Marie and Jason say: “We were blessed to have met them.” ♥️

Ten seasons of digging have eventually found fruition and the team of archaeologists behind this historic excavation is now “absolutely” certain that they have unearthed the city of Bethsaida, which was once thought to be lost forever.

After spending a decade long excavation in the ruins of the historical site, known today as el-Araj, The Bethsaida-Julias excavation team has discovered an incredible trove of artifacts from northern Israel, which underscores the conviction that this is the city where Jesus Christ performed a series of miracles recounted in the Bible.

The Academic director of the excavation, Dr. Steven Notley, recently wrote on his blog, “What we try to take into account is the accumulation of collected evidence from all the squares that paints a portrait of the historical profile of the ancient site. That picture is becoming clearer with each season.”

The discovery consists of lamps, make-up tools, coins and dozens of other artifacts from the shores of the Sea of Galilee. The team also found Roman-period walls, a basalt mortar (grinding stone), coins, and a fascinating half Doric capital that is thought to have decorated a public building, as well as hints that an earlier Hellenistic settlement was hidden beneath the mud.

Cementing the conviction, the crew also found chalk stoneware and several intact Herodian lamps, which were only made in Jerusalem before 70 CE – a definitive evidence that Jewish people lived in the city in the first century, during the period of its transitioning from Bethsaida to a Roman-period polis called Julias.

On Sunday, 30 August 2026, after the recitation of the midday Angelus, Pope Leo XIV strongly condemned the recent massacre in Haiti, and appealed for an urgent release of the captives. The Holy Father made the appeal from Castel Gandolfo, where he had arrived to take part in a local celebration, which included a historic boat procession on Lake Albano for the Feast of Our Lady of the Lake last Saturday.
The Pope also expressed his “prayerful closeness to the victims and their families” and urged immediate release of all the hostages. “I make a heartfelt appeal to all those responsible to make a concrete commitment to ensuring the safety of the population and putting an end to every form of violence” he said in his appeal. 47 people, including Christians and children, were killed and 50 others were kidnapped in a brutal gang attack that took place in Haiti on 23 August 2026.
Additionally, the Pope reiterated his call for concrete assistance to the flash-flood hit Nepal, which is grappling with the devastating aftermaths of the catastrophe that shocked the world. The flash flood, which hit the country on 26 August, 2026, left over 630 people dead and over 3000 missing.
Meanwhile, as an immediate relief, Pope Leo had sent concrete financial support to Caritas Nepal for relief operations. The Holy See sent the amount through the Dicastery for the Service of Charity in coordination with the Apostolic Nunciature of Nepal.
