ONE REQUEST. MANY PRAYERS. ONE FAITHFUL GOD.

A prayer chain is more than a list of prayer requests. It’s a beautiful reminder that we are never alone in our struggles.

When a need arises, we join our hearts in prayer, lifting one another before God. Whether the need is for healing, strength, comfort, or guidance, we stand together in faith, believing that God hears every prayer.

📖 “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” (James 5:16)

We may not always be able to change someone’s situation, but we can always bring that person before the One who can, bearing one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ.

At CPA, we share requests with care, respect privacy, and keep personal matters confidential. Not every detail needs to be shared for us to pray faithfully.

Tonight @6, let’s join together in casting all our cares to Him Who cares.

❤️ MINISTRY GOES BEYOND THE PULPIT.

A pastor’s calling is not just to preach, but also to connect, listen, encourage, and care for the people God has entrusted to them.

Sometimes, a simple conversation or a personal check-in can make someone feel seen, heard, and loved.

Jesus didn’t just preach to people; He walked with them and showed them compassion.

📖 “Shepherd the flock of God which is among you…” — 1 Peter 5:2

Let’s pray for our pastors and encourage a church culture where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and cared for.

Because ministry isn’t just about preaching the Word; it’s also about living out God’s love. ❤️

Thank God for our past and present pastors who do that as much as possible.

🐑 IN A WORLD FULL OF NOISE, CAN YOU STILL RECOGNIZE THE SHEPHERD’S VOICE? ❤️

A sheep may be surrounded by countless sounds, yet it knows the one voice that matters most—the voice of its shepherd. When that familiar voice calls, it listens, trusts, and follows.

In yesterday’s service, we watched a beautiful video about sheep and their shepherd, and it brought this powerful truth to life: the sheep recognize their shepherd’s voice because they know him and trust him. It reminded me of Jesus’ words in John 10:27:

📖 “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”

The sheep don’t need to understand every detail of the journey. They simply recognize the voice of the one they trust.

What a beautiful reminder for us as followers of Jesus! 🙏

In a world filled with noise, distractions, worries, and competing voices, we need to learn to recognize the voice of our Good Shepherd.

He speaks through His Word, guides us by His Spirit, and leads us in His truth.

The question is not whether our Shepherd is able to lead us, but whether we are listening and willing to follow.

❤️ When was the last time you became quiet enough to hear His voice?

🐑 Lord Jesus, help us recognize Your voice above every other voice and give us hearts that are willing to follow wherever You lead. Amen.

🚪 “I Am the Door” — Jesus Is the Way In!

📖 John 10:9 (KJV)
“I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.”

Have you ever wondered why Jesus called Himself the Door?

A door is an entrance, a way to enter a place of safety, peace, and belonging. Jesus used this powerful picture to show us that He is the only way to salvation and the abundant life God offers.

🚪 Jesus is the Door to Salvation. We cannot save ourselves; we need Him.

🛡️ Jesus is the Door to Safety. In Him, we find spiritual security and the care of our Good Shepherd.

🌿 Jesus is the Door to Abundant Life. Through Him, we find nourishment for our souls, guidance for our journey, and a relationship with God.

Sometimes, we search for other doors like success, possessions, relationships, or our own abilities, hoping they will give us the peace our hearts desire. But Jesus reminds us that the most important door is not a place we enter; it is the Person we trust.

Today’s Reflection:
Are you trying to find your own way, or are you trusting Jesus, the Door, to lead you into the life God has prepared for you?

Remember: When Jesus opens the way to eternal life, no other door can replace Him!

Snow on the ground? No problem!

We don’t gather because the weather is perfect. We gather because GOD IS WORTH SHOWING UP FOR! 🙌

Church is more than a building. It’s about worshipping together, growing in faith, encouraging one another, and celebrating God’s goodness!

🏗️ SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL IS TAKING SHAPE!

Have you heard the exciting news? Renovation has started at Claresholm Pentecostal Assembly! 🎉

Our church’s outside walls are on its way to a beautiful transformation, and we can’t wait to see the finished result!

But here’s what makes this even more exciting: God isn’t just renovating a building. He is building His people, strengthening our faith, and preparing us for what lies ahead! 🙏✨

The walls may be changing, but our mission remains the same: to love God, love people, and share the hope of Jesus Christ.

A new look.
A renewed vision.
The same faithful God!

IT'S FAMILY SUNDAY THIS SUNDAY 🥳🥳🥳

We have announced our next batch of Family Sunday dates! Take a look at what past Family Sundays have looked like!

𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝑭𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒚 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒔 𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓:

Family services help us remember how children are part of the whole church! They have a chance to worship and grow in faith with their families, as well as learn how to interpret sermons in kid-friendly language.

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑴𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒔 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒔𝒆 𝑺𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝑲𝒊𝒅-𝑷𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆:

- Kids will receive a thoughtfully-curated creativity bag that will keep their minds activated and hands busy during the service.
- Kids will receive an extra special treat.
- Children have the option of playing with a fidget of their choosing to borrow.
- For a few of these Family Sundays, children get to share their Pastor Shaelyn with their grown-ups. Pastor Shaelyn is a big fan of engaging object lessons, involving the kids, while still diving deep into the Word through exegesis, hermeneutics and Word Study for adults and kids to walk away with an important message. 𝑨 𝒎𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑯𝒐𝒍𝒚 𝑺𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒂 𝒎𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒆!
- During fellowship time after service, kids can play with the big games in the Fellowship Hall.

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝑪𝒂𝒏 𝑫𝒐:

- Talk to your kids about if they would like to help greet at the door, usher the offering, or hand out creativity bags. Children love opportunities to learn how to act out their faith in service just like grown-ups do! Please let Pastor Shaelyn know if they are interested so she can make proper introductions.
- Encourage the kids to grab some worship ribbons we have in the sanctuary for worship so they can dance during Worship just like David.
- If your little one needs a place to stretch their legs during the service, you can still enjoy the service from the Nursery while supervising your child.

𝑰𝒕'𝒔 𝑮𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑻𝒐 𝑩𝒆 𝑨𝒏 𝑨𝒎𝒂𝒛𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑻𝒊𝒎𝒆!

"Call together all the men, women, and children, and the foreigners who live in your towns, so that everyone may hear it and learn to honor the LORD your God and to obey His teachings faithfully." - Deuteronomy 6:7

SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL ALWAYS HAPPENS IN OUR PRAYER GATHERINGS EVERY WEDNESDAYS.

And lately, it has become more personal and engaging.

It feels different when we sit together, look at one another, listen to each other’s hearts, and pray, not just for the needs we know about, but for the people sitting right beside us.

There’s something special about knowing that you can share what’s on your heart, that someone is willing to listen, and that you don’t have to face your struggles alone.

We’re learning that prayer is not just about bringing our requests to God. It’s also about building relationships, carrying one another’s burdens, encouraging one another, and growing together in faith.

Sometimes, we may come to the gathering feeling tired, discouraged, or carrying something nobody else knows about. But as we pray together, we are reminded that we belong to a family of believers who care.

And perhaps that’s one of the beautiful things God is doing among us—not just teaching us to pray together, but teaching us to care for one another more deeply.

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up.” (1 Thessalonians 5:11)

May our prayer gatherings continue to be a place where hearts are open, burdens are shared, faith is strengthened, and God’s presence is welcomed.

A question to reflect on: What if one of the greatest blessings of coming together to pray is discovering that we are not alone in our journey of faith?
