Week Three: Kindness to our Friends June 21st, 2026

The story for today is "We will share the story of the little boy who shared his lunch (John 6:1-14), showing how small kindness can make a big impact.

The activity will be making FRIENDSHIP BRACELETS

Service begins at 9:15 a.m. @ St. Peter's (6254 Yonge St., Churchill)

Despite the rain, we had a wonderful Cemetery service this morning. Many people attended to pay respects to family resting in our cemetery. The Pipe had to pipe us down to the Parish hall instead of out into the cemetery, although a few brave souls did manage to go outside regardless of the weather. Afterwards, there was a luncheon served in the Parish hall and a good time was had by all, visiting with some folks we hadn't seen in a while but always remembered fondly. A memorial table was set up in the church for those we have lost over the years but always in our hearts. Thank you to all who attended and those who made a beautiful lunch. A big thank you to Fr. Austyn for his leading the service and delivering a great sermon and many thanks to Fr. David who took the service at St. John's while Fr. Austyn was at St. Peter's.

A reminder that our Cemetery Service Day is June 14th at 10:30 a.m. The change of time is to accommodate those who may be coming from a distance to reach the church. We look forward to seeing many of our church family, past and present, remember those at rest in our cemetery. A piper will lead us out for prayers after service, followed by a luncheon in the Parish hall. Everyone is welcome to join us. Flags have been placed on the gravesites of our Veterans as well.
