We’re going to try something new with Eden’s Women’s Group. We will no longer meet the first Tuesday of the month. Instead, there will be a monthly activity. The date, time, and activity will be posted in the bulletin, as well as on Eden’s Women’s Group Instagram page. In addition, the activity will be posted as an event on Facebook, allowing you to respond if you will be attending or not. You are also able to easily find upcoming events.

We would love to hear your ideas for what to do when we spend our time together. Feel free to share your ideas as comments to this post or contact Jen at 604 997-0303.

Your chance to register for the MCBC's Women's Retreat Oct 23-25 starts this month when early registration begins. You can register at mcbc.ca. This year's theme is Refresh which has a double meaning. Women on the committee are working hard to offer new ideas for the weekend. And Sara Griffiths Hu will be returning to speak on how we can refresh and renew our personal lives. I hope to see you there!

Mennonite Church British Columbia is hosting a Women's Day event on May 2nd at Emmanuel Mennonite Church from 10am-2 pm. Sharon Simpson will speak on When Belief Becomes Action. The $30 cost includes lunch, desserts, and one complimentary espresso bar drink provided by Mapalo Coffee Co. Eden's women's group invites you to join us for dinner Monday, May 11th to say goodbye and wish Brenda Redekop well before she moves. Dinner is at 530 pm at White Spot.
