Welcome to St. Thomas! We’re so glad you are here!

St. Thomas is an inclusive, affirming, caring Christian faith community. It is our desire to be guided by the Holy Spirit and the teachings of Jesus Christ as we share God’s love with all.

We acknowledge that we are meeting on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Stó:lō peoples. May the living Christ lead us on pathways of reconciliation, reparation, and healing.

As a national Stat Day, it's important to keep the focus on how we can elevate and reconcile with our Indigenous siblings and neighbours.

Some questions we might ask:
• How can we decolonize our worship and worship space?
• What ways can we honour the children in our context?
• How is our awareness of Reconciliation changing us and changing the ways we do
things?
• How might you honour Indigenous culture as an act of reconciliation?

Find below some resources connected to National Truth and Reconciliation day within the Diocese of New Westminster: https://www.vancouver.anglican.ca/news/truth-reconciliation-orange-shirt-day-resources
