I received this message this week from a Southsider who came to join our group last week.
This was so powerful and encouraging to know the path God has called us on with this group is working. That people’s lives are being changed. That people still can connect with Jesus in a new, deep, meaningful way that they never knew they could.

Last night God gave someone a picture of butter being cut in half. We laughed and thought that’s funny...... then at the very end of the night God revealed what it meant.

Keeping it real this morning ladies .....

I spent the night at the ER with my daughter who shoved a piece of metal up her nose....

I'm exhausted! My house is a mess. The dishes aren't done and floors are dirty. But you know what, Jesus doesn't care if my house is a mess. He will still show up! He is with me in my weariness, He is with me in the valleys and the mountain tops.

Looking forward to seeing you all this morning in my not perfect house, with people who aren't perfect. But with people who are ready to see Jesus move!

It has taken me all day to process what happened this morning. It was amazingly ordained by God and was proof that when you come with expectation and faith for Jesus to show up, he does.

Days ago when I was praying preparing for Monday I kept getting scripture involving wisdom.
Proverbs 8:11
Proverbs 3: 13-15
Ecclesiastes 9: 13-18

It didn't really ring in my spirit but I kept it to the side to share today and see if it was a word for another person in the group.

Then this happened..... around 8:30 this morning I was praying and preparing for the morning to come. Asking God who we should be praying for this morning. Then at 8:40 I received a call from a life long friend from Quebec. She was literally sitting with a young woman who is a young mom and who had been struggling with cutting. After reading the feature story on my own cutting, that was published last week, my friend knew that I would be the perfect fit to help this young woman.
So I talked with her for 3 minutes and said yes we would pray.

And pray we did.

After too much good stuff to even write about, scriptures being shared and some tears being shed, we landed on Proverbs 3:7-8 "do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, and strength to your bones."
HEALTH TO YOUR FLESH!
How perfect when praying for a girl who struggles with cutting.

We left so encouraged and reassured.
We are in the right place at the right time!
