The Archdiocese of Kingston is celebrating an important milestone—200 years of faith and community in 2026. This marks two centuries since the diocese was first established in 1826, making it one of the oldest Catholic communities in Canada.

As part of the celebrations, many of our fellow parishioners travelled to Kingston on April 18 to take part in a special Mass at St. Mary’s Cathedral. This meaningful celebration brought together clergy, community members, and visitors to give thanks for the past and to look ahead with hope for the future.

The anniversary is being celebrated throughout the year with special events, prayers, and pilgrimages, allowing all parishes to reflect on their shared history and continue to grow in faith together.
