To avoid the road closure, you should plan to enter town this morning from the south or on Thomas Rd.

CLEARED (10:17 a.m.): One individual is in police custody, and no others are being sought. There is no threat to public safety. 1ST Ave. North will soon be reopening. A police presence may continue as evidence is documented. No further information will be released at this time. ^pia

UPDATE (8:25 a.m.): 1ST Ave. North remains closed in both directions from 3RD St. NW to just before Riverside Dr. to assist with the response to an ongoing disturbance in the area. Updates to follow. ^ pia
