A recap of Sundayโs message
What if everything we know about finding peace is wrong? ๐ค
When stressed, we usually look for "peace and quiet"โtrying to find peace by subtracting things from our lives. But true peace is so much more than a calm schedule.
The Hebrew word for peace is Shalom. It doesnโt mean silence; it means to be complete, sound, and whole. Nothing missing, nothing broken.
The world offers a "comfy sweater" peaceโthe idea that material comfort or a trouble-free life equals relaxation. But a sweater only works if the weather behaves; it canโt warm a shivering soul when life's unexpected storms hit.
True peace isn't the absence of trouble; itโs the presence of Jesus. ๐ He doesnโt just give peaceโHe is peace, stepping into our messy realities to restore what anxiety has shattered.
If you are in a season of stress, stop looking around for a sign and start looking to the Saviour.
Bring your anxiety, inadequacy, and broken spirit to the cross.
Declare over your life, your family, and your future: Jesus is MY peace!
