At St Andrew's we are starting a new worship series called Acts of Belonging. We will journey from Easter to Pentecost through the book of Acts, where the earliest Jesus-followers learn (sometimes awkwardly, sometimes beautifully) how to become a community of resurrection in real life. Not a perfect church. A practising church. The kind that figures out how to love neighbours, resist corrupting power, and keep widening the circle of invitation and belonging.

If you’ve ever felt burnt out, lonely, anxious, grief-heavy, or just unsure what you believe anymore, you’re not confused or behind or somehow wrong. You are human. Acts of Belonging is for the everyone: the hurt, the hopeful, the skeptical, the “I’m curious but cautious,” and the people who’ve never done church before and would love a map. We’ll explore what an anti-empire faith looks like, not as a slogan, but as a way of living that chooses mutual care over scarcity and courageous welcome over fear.

Come as you are, bring your questions, and take the next step at your own pace. We’ll be celebrating membership on May 10 (a joyful invitation to belong more intentionally), and we’ll keep building toward Pentecost: that moment when the Spirit reminds us we’re not alone, and we’re not powerless. You are welcome here.
