Hey fam,
In an attempt to be as helpful as possible, here's some information that will help you plan your travel to church on Sunday morning.
Farm Day, Charlottetown’s largest annual event, takes place this Sunday and will bring thousands of people downtown.
This is a wonderful community celebration, but it also means there will be significant road closures and parking challenges around the church. Here are a few key details to be aware of:Queen Street will be closed from Grafton Street to Water Street, midnight–9:00 PM on Sunday.
All connecting side streets will also be blocked with barriers and security staff.Vendor setup begins at 6:00 AM, with over 150 vendors, trucks, and trailers in the area.Parking will be very limited, as most nearby lots and side streets will fill early.
A main stage with live music will be set up on Queen Street.
Attendance for Farm Day typically reaches 15,000+ people between 10:00 AM–4:00 PM.
If you are planning to attend church on Sunday morning, please allow extra time and consider alternative parking options. We encourage everyone to come prepared so you can arrive smoothly and enjoy the service without stress.
Thank you for your patience and planning as we navigate this lively community event together!
