“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

There are battles no one sees. Those internal struggles between faith and worry. The mind overthinking. The heart feeling tired.

But Paul writes this text from a prison. Not from comfort. Not from a beach. He writes it while confined, and even then he says: “Do not worry about anything.”

That means peace does not depend on circumstances; it depends on where you take your burdens.

Many times in our humanity, we talk more with our anxiety than with God. We think, imagine, and become desperate… but we pray little.

And this verse teaches us the right order:

Praying about everything results in peace.

God never promised there would be no problems. He promised that His peace would guard our hearts in the middle of them.

And that peace “transcends all understanding.” It is a peace that does not make human sense. Because the world says, “Have peace when everything is going well.”

But God says, “You can have peace even while I am still working.”

Maybe today you do not have all the answers. But you do have access to God. Do not carry alone what God asked you to surrender in prayer.

Worry drains your strength. Prayer activates peace.

Prayer:
Lord, today I surrender everything that worries me. My burdens, my thoughts, and my fears. Help me trust You more than my emotions. Let Your peace rule my heart and my mind. In Christ Jesus, amen.

Filipenses 4:6-7

“No se preocupen por nada; más bien, en toda ocasión, con oración y ruego, presenten sus peticiones a Dios y denle gracias. Y la paz de Dios, que sobrepasa todo entendimiento, cuidará sus corazones y sus pensamientos en Cristo Jesús.”

Hay batallas que nadie ve. Son esas peleas internas entre la fe y la preocupación. La mente pensando demasiado. El corazón cansado.

Pero Pablo escribe este texto desde una prisión. No desde comodidad. No desde una playa. Lo escribe encerrado, y aun así dice: “No se preocupen por nada.”

Eso significa que la paz no depende de las circunstancias; depende de dónde llevas tus cargas.

Muchas veces en nuestra humanidas hablamos mas con nuestra ansiedad que con Dios. Pensamos, imaginamos, nos desesperamos… pero oramos poco.

Y este versículo nos enseña el orden correcto:

Orar por todo trae como resultado Paz.

Dios no prometió que nunca habría problemas. Prometió que Su paz guardaría nuestro corazón en medio de ellos.

Y esa paz “sobrepasa todo entendimiento”. Es una paz que no tiene lógica humana. Porque el mundo dice: “Ten paz cuando todo esté bien.”
Pero Dios dice: “Puedes tener paz aun cuando todavía estoy obrando.”

Quizás hoy no tienes todas las respuestas. Pero sí tienes acceso a Dios. No cargues solo lo que Dios te pidió entregar en oración.

La preocupación consume fuerzas. La oración activa la paz.

Oración:
Señor, hoy te entrego todo lo que me preocupa. Mis cargas, mis pensamientos y mis temores. Ayúdame a confiar más en Ti que en mis emociones. Que Tu paz gobierne mi corazón y mi mente. En Cristo Jesús, amén.

With deeply grateful hearts, we want to thank God for the life of our beloved Isabella, and also for all the love, faith, prayers, and fasting that so many people offered on her behalf, and that many continue to offer for our family during this very difficult time.

Although our pain is immense, we also recognize God’s faithfulness and grace sustaining us day by day. We have felt the love of Christ through every hug, every message, every prayer, and every act of kindness. Thank you for walking alongside us and for continuing to uphold us in your prayers.

As a family, we would like to invite everyone who wishes to join us in honoring, remembering, and celebrating Isabella’s life together, and also to find strength in community and in the hope we have in Christ.

The visitation will take place on Monday, June 1st at 1:00 p.m. at Belvedere Funeral Home, followed by a celebration and thanksgiving service for Isabella’s life at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel.

Additionally, anyone who wishes to accompany us afterward to the cemetery for the burial service will be warmly welcomed.
We would also like to respectfully inform everyone that there will be no reception following the service.

We continue to hold on to the peace, hope, and comfort that only God can give. Even in the midst of pain, we give glory to Christ for every memory, every moment, and every life that Isabella touched with her love.

Con corazones profundamente agradecidos, queremos dar gracias a Dios por la vida de nuestra amada Isabella, y también por todo el amor, la fe, las oraciones y el ayuno que tantas personas ofrecieron por ella, y que muchos continúan ofreciendo por nuestra familia durante este tiempo tan difícil.

Aunque nuestro dolor es inmenso, también reconocemos la fidelidad y la gracia de Dios sosteniéndonos día tras día. Hemos sentido el amor de Cristo a través de cada abrazo, cada mensaje, cada oración y cada acto de bondad. Gracias por caminar junto a nosotros y por continuar sosteniéndonos en sus oraciones.

Como familia, queremos invitar a todos aquellos que deseen acompañarnos para honrar, recordar y celebrar juntos la vida de Isabella, y también para encontrar fortaleza en comunidad y en la esperanza que tenemos en Cristo.

ISABELLA – CONSECRATED TO GOD
We want to deeply thank the entire community that has stood with us during this very difficult time. Every prayer, every cry to God, every message, every act of love and support has overwhelmed our family. You have been an answer to our prayers and an embrace from God in the midst of pain.
We also want to express our sincerest gratitude to the medical and healthcare staff at the IWK Health Centre and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown. As parents, and also as physicians by profession, we carefully followed every step of the process and treatment for our daughter, making sure she received the best possible care at every moment.
We do not have enough words to thank you for the care, dedication, humanity, and love with which Isabella and our family were treated. Your service has truly been a blessing to us.
As physicians, my wife and I deeply understand the weight, the responsibility, and also the privilege involved in caring for a human life. We know that those of us who dedicate our lives to healthcare do so with the sincere desire to be an answer for individuals and families in the midst of their need, using our skills, knowledge, and calling to serve with compassion.
For that reason, witnessing firsthand the commitment, professionalism, and human kindness of every person who cared for Isabella has deeply touched our hearts.
Thank you as well to the school principals, teachers, parents, and the entire school community who have reached out with messages, prayers, and generosity. Thank you to all the organizations that have supported us. Thank you to our friends, our family in the faith City Impact Church around the world, and our pastors. There are not enough words to express our gratitude for everything you have done for us. Thank you for giving of your lives and walking with us through every step of this journey.
As a family, we also want to thank God for everything He has spoken to us throughout this process. Our faith has been deeply tested, and our prayer has been that the Lord would find us faithful to Him until the very end. God has sustained our faith even in the midst of the hardest days.
We named her Isabella because we prayed for her even before her birth, and we consecrated her to the service of God while she was still in my wife Alexandra’s womb. ISABELLA is, and will always remain, consecrated to God.
Many miracles have happened throughout this process, and they will continue to happen.
After completing the necessary neurological studies and exhausting every possible medical effort minute by minute in Isabella’s care, the results have been conclusive. With deep sorrow, but also with the peace and hope we have in Christ, we want to share with you that Isabella has gone to be in the presence of the Lord.
Although Isabella did not receive the healing we hoped for in the way we expected — that is, in her physical body — our faith in Christ Jesus sustains us and reminds us that the miracle did happen. Today, Isabella has received a perfect body, free from pain, free from sickness, and free from every limitation. A heavenly, eternal body filled with the glorious presence of God.
To us, Isabella has been and always will be a miracle.
And as a family, we also want to become an answer to the prayers of other parents. For that reason, we have made the decision to donate her organs, believing that through Isabella, the miracle of life will reach many other people. Can you see it? Miracles are still happening.
Jesus Himself gave His life out of love for us. He was the greatest example of surrender, generosity, and sacrifice in the history of humanity. And we want to follow His example of love until the very end. It is our prayer that Isabella would become the answer and the miracle for other parents, just as she has been for us throughout her life. Forever and always, to God and to God alone be all the glory. May every knee bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
Anyone who wishes to accompany us during the funeral services will be welcome. We will share more details as soon as we have confirmed information.
In the meantime, we want to thank you once again for so much love and ask that you continue surrounding us with the same respect, care, and human warmth you have shown us until now. As a family, we ask for love and respect as we walk through this season of grief.

ISABELLA – CONSAGRADA A DIOS
Queremos agradecer profundamente a toda la comunidad que se ha unido a nosotros durante este tiempo tan difícil. Cada oración, cada súplica, cada mensaje, cada gesto de amor y apoyo ha sido desbordante para nuestra familia. Ustedes han sido respuesta a nuestras oraciones y un abrazo de Dios en medio del dolor.
Queremos expresar también nuestro más sincero agradecimiento al personal médico y de salud del IWK Health Centre y del Queen Elizabeth Hospital en Charlottetown. Como padres y también como médicos de profesión, hemos seguido cuidadosamente cada paso del proceso y del tratamiento de nuestra hija, asegurándonos de que reciba la mejor atención posible en cada momento.
No tenemos suficientes palabras para agradecer el cuidado, la dedicación, la humanidad y el amor con el que Isabella y nuestra familia fueron tratados. Su servicio ha sido una verdadera bendición para nosotros.
Como médicos, mi esposa y yo entendemos profundamente el peso, la responsabilidad y también el privilegio que existe en el cuidado de una vida humana. Por eso, haber visto de cerca la entrega, el profesionalismo y la calidad humana de cada persona que ha cuidado de Isabella toca profundamente nuestros corazones.
Gracias también a los directores de las escuelas, maestros, padres y a toda la comunidad escolar que se ha acercado con mensajes, oraciones y generosidad, gracias a todas las asociaciones que nos han brindado su soporte. Gracias a nuestros amigos, a nuestra familia de la fe City Impact Church alrededor de el mundo y a nuestros pastores. No existen suficientes palabras para agradecer todo lo que han hecho por nosotros. Gracias por darnos de su vida acompañarnos en cada paso de este camino.
Como familia, también queremos agradecer todo lo que Dios nos ha hablado durante este proceso. Nuestra fe ha sido probada profundamente, y nuestra oración ha sido que el Señor nos encuentre fieles a Él hasta el final. Dios ha sostenido nuestra fe aun en medio de los días más difíciles.
La llamamos Isabella porque oramos por ella desde antes de su nacimiento y la consagramos al servicio de Dios aun cuando estaba en el vientre de mi esposa, Alexandra. ISABELLA es y seguirá siendo consagrada a Dios.
Han sucedido muchos milagros durante este proceso, y seguirán sucediendo.
Luego de realizar los estudios neurológicos correspondientes y tras haber agotado todos los esfuerzos médicos posibles para el cuidado de Isabella minuto a minuto, los resultados han sido concluyentes. Con profundo dolor, pero también con la paz y la esperanza que tenemos en Cristo, queremos comunicarles que Isabella ha partido a la presencia del Señor.
Aunque Isabella no ha recibido la sanidad que esperábamos en la forma en la que la esperábamos, es decir en su cuerpo físico, nuestra fe en Cristo Jesús nos sostiene y nos recuerda que el milagro sí sucedió. Hoy Isabella ha recibido un cuerpo perfecto, libre de dolor, libre de enfermedad y libre de toda limitación. Un cuerpo celestial, eterno y lleno de la gloriosa presencia de Dios.
Para nosotros, Isabella ha sido y siempre será un milagro.
Y como familia, también queremos convertirnos en respuesta para las oraciones de otros padres. Por esa razón, hemos tomado la decisión de donar sus órganos, creyendo que a través de Isabella el milagro de la vida alcanzará a muchas otras personas. Lo puedes ver? Milagros siguen sucediendo.
Jesús mismo entregó su vida por amor a nosotros. Él fue el mayor ejemplo de entrega, generosidad y sacrificio en la historia de la humanidad. Y nosotros queremos seguir su ejemplo de amor hasta el final. Es nuestra oración que Isabella sea la respuesta y el milagro para otros padres, como lo ha sido ella en vida para nosotros. Por siempre y para siempre a Dios y únicamente a Dios sea toda la gloria. Que toda rodilla se doble y que toda lengua confiese que Jesús es el Señor.
Todos los que deseen acompañarnos durante el funeral serán bienvenidos. Compartiremos más detalles tan pronto tengamos la información confirmada.

ISABELLA
Consecrated to God

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart…”
— Matthew 22:37

There is a great difference between knowing about God and truly belonging to Him.

To be consecrated is not pretending to be holy.
It is not having a spiritual title.
It is not simply attending church.

To be consecrated is to live with the awareness that your life no longer completely belongs to you… it belongs to God.

It is saying to Him:

“Lord, my plans are Yours.
My dreams are Yours.
My time is Yours.
My heart is Yours.”

Consecration begins in secret.

No one sees when you choose to turn off what feeds your flesh. No one sees when you choose obedience even when you feel like doing the opposite. No one sees the tears of a sincere prayer in the middle of the night.

But God sees it.

And He honors those who put Him first.

We live in a world that constantly wants to take the throne of the heart: social media, money, pride, appearance, emotions, wrong relationships.

Because whatever holds first place in your heart… eventually directs your life.

That is why the real question is not:
“Do you believe in God?”

The real question is:
“Does God have first place in you?”

A consecrated life is not a perfect life.
It is a surrendered life. It is waking up every day and saying: “Lord, I want to become more like You.”

Sometimes consecration will hurt, because God will remove things that pull you away from Him. But everything God prunes… has the purpose of helping you grow.

God is not looking for people who are available only on Sundays. He is looking for hearts that are completely surrendered.

When God takes first place:

* your decisions change,
* your priorities change,
* your conversations change,
* your desires change.

Because what you love… transforms the way you live. Today God is not looking for religion. He is looking for surrender. He is not looking for appearances. He is looking for sincerity.

He is not looking for instant perfection. He is looking for a willing heart.

Consecration is not losing freedom; it is finding purpose.

Prayer:

“Lord, today I want to give You first place in my heart. Remove from me everything that pulls me away from Your presence. Teach me to live for You even in secret. May my thoughts, decisions, and desires honor You. I do not want a superficial faith; I want a life surrendered to You. Consecrate me, shape me, and use me for Your purpose.
Amen.”

ISABELLA
Consagrada a Dios

“Amarás al Señor tu Dios con todo tu corazón…”
— Mateo 22:37

Hay una gran diferencia entre conocer de Dios y pertenecerle verdaderamente.

Ser consagrado no es aparentar santidad.
No es tener un título espiritual.
No es solamente asistir a la iglesia.

Ser consagrado es vivir con la conciencia de que tu vida ya no te pertenece completamente a ti… le pertenece a Dios.

Es decirle:
“Señor, mis planes son tuyos.
Mis sueños son tuyos.
Mi tiempo es tuyo.
Mi corazón es tuyo.”

La consagración comienza en lo secreto.
Nadie ve cuando decides apagar aquello que alimenta tu carne.
Nadie ve cuando eliges obedecer aunque tengas ganas de hacer lo contrario.
Nadie ve las lágrimas de una oración sincera en medio de la noche.

Pero Dios sí lo ve.

Y Él honra a los que lo ponen primero.

Vivimos en un mundo que quiere ocupar el trono del corazón: las redes, el dinero, el orgullo, la apariencia, las emociones, las relaciones equivocadas.

Porque aquello que ocupa el primer lugar en tu corazón… termina dirigiendo tu vida.

Por eso la verdadera pregunta no es:
“¿Crees en Dios?”

La verdadera pregunta es:
“¿Tiene Dios el primer lugar en ti?”

Una vida consagrada no es una vida perfecta.
Es una vida rendida. Es levantarte cada día y decir:
“Señor, quiero parecerme más a Ti.”

A veces la consagración dolerá, porque Dios quitará cosas que te alejan de Él. Pero todo lo que Dios poda… tiene el propósito de hacerte crecer.

Dios no busca personas disponibles solo los domingos. Busca corazones completamente entregados.

Cuando Dios ocupa el primer lugar:

* tus decisiones cambian,
* tus prioridades cambian,
* tus conversaciones cambian,
* tus deseos cambian.

Porque aquello que amas… transforma la manera en que vives. Hoy Dios no está buscando religión. Está buscando entrega. No busca apariencia. Busca sinceridad.

No busca perfección instantánea. Busca un corazón dispuesto. La consagración no es perder libertad; es encontrar propósito.

Oración:

“Señor, hoy quiero darte el primer lugar en mi corazón. Aparta de mí todo aquello que me aleja de Tu presencia. Enséñame a vivir para Ti aun en lo secreto. Que mis pensamientos, decisiones y deseos te honren. No quiero una fe superficial; quiero una vida rendida a Ti.
Conságrame, moldéame y úsame para Tu propósito.
Amén

Isabella’s condition continues to be critical. Our prayer continues to be one of faith for a miracle.

Every minute matters.
Every prayer matters.

We continue believing.
We continue praying.

Please continue praying for the family. They need us now more than ever. Dont go to bed tonight with out pray please!

ACTUALIZACIÓN SOBRE ISABELLA

La condición de Isabella continúa siendo crítica. Nuestra oración sigue siendo una oración de fe por un milagro.

Cada oración es importante.

Seguimos creyendo.

UPDATE ON ISABELLA

Our love and gratitude to everyone who joined us today for the prayer gathering for Isabella and the BASTARDO JIMENEZ family this morning at the UPEI.

During our gathering, Isabella was being taken in for further testing and brain scans to evaluate her condition. We still waiting and praying.

We continue praying.

Meanwhile, Ps. Gustavo and part of the City Impact Church team are currently on the road to continue supporting and standing with the family. We love them, and we are here to lay down our lives for our friends.

There are not enough words or actions to fully express this love.

Please continue praying for Ps. Gustavo and the team as we continue standing watch in prayer for ISABELLA AND HER FAMILY.

Thank you all once again.

ACTUALIZACIÓN SOBRE ISABELLA

Nuestro amor y gratitud a todos los que nos acompañaron hoy en la reunión de oración por Isabella y la familia BASTARDO JIMENEZ.
