MATURE FAITH

“Solid food is for those who are mature, who through training have the skill to recognize the difference between right and wrong.”
Hebrews 5:14 NLT

There is a difference between immature faith and mature faith.

Immature faith asks God:
“Why is this happening to me?”

Mature faith asks:
“What do You want to do in my heart through this?”

Immature faith looks for a quick way out. Mature faith looks for a transformed heart. Immature faith measures God’s love by the absence of problems. Mature faith recognizes His love even in the middle of the process.

Mature faith understands that not everything needs an immediate explanation, because there are answers God gives with time, and others He reveals as we walk with Him. Spiritual maturity does not mean that we stop asking questions. It means learning to trust God even when some answers have not yet come.

Spiritual maturity begins when we stop asking only for God to change our circumstances and begin allowing Him to change our character.

Mature faith is not born from the number of years we have spent in church, but from a life that has learned to obey God again and again.

Let us pray:

“Lord, do not allow my faith to remain in the comfort of seeking quick answers. Form in me a character that trusts You even when I do not understand everything. Help me grow until I reflect Christ more fully. Amen.”

And today, reflect honestly:

Does my faith only seek for God to change my situation, or is it also allowing Him to change my heart?

Malachi 3:17–18 (NKJV)

"They shall be Mine," says the Lord of hosts, "On the day that I make them My jewels. And I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him."

"Then you shall again discern between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him."

I want to place this Word from God in your heart.

I am deeply moved by the way God speaks about those who are His special treasure, and within that statement there is something incredibly powerful: "his own son who serves him."

It made me realize that the person who serves God is not simply completing a task, filling a position, or carrying out a responsibility. The one who serves God is responding to an invitation from the Father. And God looks upon that service with love, honor, and mercy.

I am also deeply impacted by these words:

"And I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him."

God is not looking for perfect people to serve Him. He is not waiting to find "flawless saints" before He can use them. Instead, He is looking for willing sons and daughters—people who, even while walking through struggles, weaknesses, and areas that still need to be transformed, have not stopped serving Him.

A child of God may need forgiveness. They may fail. They may go through correction. But there is something precious in the Father's eyes when that son or daughter continues serving Him.

Serving does not earn God's forgiveness, but it does reveal a heart that stays close to Him, remains available, and continues to say, "Lord, here I am."

Then verse 18 gives us a powerful reminder:

"Then you shall again discern... between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him."

There is a difference.

There is a distinction.

There is a blessing upon those who have responded to God's invitation to serve.

That is why today I want to sincerely thank and honor every one of you who gave your time, your resources, your strength, your talents, and so much more to serve during this JEX.

Perhaps not everyone saw every sacrifice, every long hour, every act of service, every moment of exhaustion, or every detail you poured out—but God did. And before Him, service offered with love never goes unnoticed.

Thank you for saying "yes" to God.

Thank you for serving faithfully.

Thank you for being part of what He is doing.

I truly believe there is a special blessing for those who serve, and that God distinguishes, protects, honors, and shows mercy to His sons and daughters who serve Him.

May this Word strengthen your hearts and remind you that, to God, you are precious, valuable, and part of His treasured possession.

With love and gratitude, thank you for serving.

WHAT IS JEX?

JEX is so much more than a camp or a retreat.

It is a weekend to encounter Jesus. A time to set aside everything that worries you, wears you down, and distracts you, and to step away with your family to receive everything God has prepared for you.

There is a before and an after a JEX!

The day of your victory is here.

The Bible says:

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”
— Ezekiel 36:26

That is JEX.

A time when God transforms hearts, restores what has been broken, and makes all things new.

The bible also say:

“Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.”
— Psalm 92:13

That is the result of encountering Jesus.

When He transforms your heart, your whole life begins to flourish.

Your relationships flourish.
Your marriage flourishes.
Your children flourish.
Your purpose flourishes.
Your faith flourishes.

There is so much you are about to experience…

A new life is waiting for you and your family!

JEX is the answer to those prayers you’ve prayed in silence…
To the prayers you’ve cried through tears…
To those moments when you felt like you simply couldn’t go on.

Because in the end, EVERYTHING, yes…. EVERYTHING you have ever needed can be summed up in one thing:

To have a genuine ENCOUNTER WITH JESUS

Today marks the beginning of a brand-new story.

Welcome to JEX!

¡Bienvenidos a JEX!

When you give thanks even in your difficult moments, you are recognizing that, if God allowed it, it is because He has a plan—a plan in which you will not be left helpless.
