St. Stephen's with St. James Chambly Quebec

St. Stephen's with St. James Chambly Quebec Come and See We are a welcoming community. Sunday's Church service is at 10:00 am. The third part of our worship is a coffee hour after Sunday's service.

We alternate between Morning Prayer and Eucharists from the Book of Alternative Service. Our hybrid services are online and in-person. Our daily online devotions are at noonish, called "Daily Bell's"

Today we remember Augustine, the first archbishop of
Canterbury. He enters history in the year 596, when he was deputy-abbot of a monastery in the city of Rome. He would have been quite happy to remain in that position, but Pope
Gregory the Great chose him to lead a mission to the Anglo-Saxons of England. Augustine was to convert them to Christianity and to organize an English Church.
