It is a time to pray for the renewal of the church and for people in our lives to know God's love. All are invited to come and remember Jackie Downing Halton and give thanks for all the joy, love and laughter she shared with us. There will be a Celebration of Life Service at St. George's on Tuesday, May 19th: visitation at 10:00am, service at 11:00am, lunch following in the Parish Hall. Rest in peace dear Jackie!

DOWNING, Jacquelin
(1951-2026)

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Jacquelin Downing, on May 4th, 2026, at the age of 74, in Chateauguay at Anna Laberge Hospital.

She is survived by her common-law husband Pierre Lalonde, daughter, Krista Halton and son-in-law Robbie Toth, Sister Cheryl Way, Brother James Downing (wife Nola), Nieces and Nephews, Matthew Downing, Laura Downing, Justin Way, Serena and Matthew Heneault, Robert, Emily and Caroline Thom as well as many relatives and friends.

All are invited to a memorial service for Dorothy Donaldson King, Saturday April 18th ay 10:30am at St. George's. The service will be streamed live on Facebook for those not able to attend in person. There will be a light lunch following in the Parish Hall. We give thanks for Dorothy's life and all the love, joy and kindness she shared with her family, the Châteuaguay Community and St. George's!
