Shabbat Shalom from Dr. Fruchtenbaum and the entire Ariel family!

This photo, taken by Christiane Jurik, shows a former synagogue—now a church—located at the last DP camp where the Fruchtenbaum family once stayed. Recently, an artist has placed the Shema on the wall in honor of the building’s Jewish heritage.

When the sun sets tonight, Shavuot begins, and we at Ariel Ministries will celebrate a very special event: the birth of the Church.

In Acts 2, God’s Holy Spirit fell upon the Jewish believers in Jerusalem. At that very moment, they were welded together into one new organism: the kehila, the ekklesia, the living body of the Messiah.
