This Sunday we celebrate Trinity Sunday, a reminder that faith is less about fully understanding God and more about living in relationship with God’s love.

The readings invite us to see God through creation and the Spirit moving within us. In Matthew’s Gospel, Jesus sends the disciples out even while some still doubt, reminding us that we do not need perfect faith to be called and loved by God.

At the heart of the Trinity is relationship, compassion, and connection. We are created in love, guided by grace, and sent out to share that love through kindness, welcome, forgiveness, and care for one another.

Join us this Sunday as we gather in worship, reflect on these meaningful readings, and celebrate the reminder that God walks with us always.

🔥🕊️ Parish-Wide Pentecost Service – Sunday, May 24 🕊️🔥

Join us this Sunday as we celebrate The Day of Pentecost — the gift of the Holy Spirit, who comes to us as breath, fire, peace, courage, and living water.

We will gather for one parish-wide service:

⛪ Sunday, May 24
🕘 9:00am
📍 St. John’s – Sixth Line
☕ Coffee hour to follow

Pentecost reminds us that the Spirit meets us in the locked and weary places of our lives, speaks peace, and sends us out to share God’s love in ways others can truly receive.

Come, Holy Spirit! 🕊️
Come as breath, fire, water, peace, and love.

This Sunday, we reflect on the gift of the Holy Spirit and the reminder that God still meets ordinary people in powerful ways.

Through the images of wind, fire, breath, and locked doors, we will explore how Jesus speaks peace into our fears and breathes courage into weary hearts.

Pentecost reminds us that the Spirit comes not only to the confident, but also to the tired, grieving, doubtful, and ordinary. We are invited to share God’s love in ways people can truly receive it through kindness, listening, forgiveness, prayer, and simply showing up for one another.

As you prepare for the week ahead, consider:

Where do you need the breath of God in your life right now?

And where might the Spirit be sending you to bring peace and love to someone else?

We would love for you to join us this Sunday.

This Sunday’s message, “Cloud Watching Is Not a Spiritual Gift,” invites us to reflect on a simple but powerful reminder ☁️✨

After Jesus ascends into heaven, the disciples stand staring into the sky until they are gently reminded to stop looking up and start living out their calling.

The heart of the message is this:
Jesus has not left us behind. He is still present, still working, and still calling us to be witnesses of hope, healing, and love in the world.

Before the disciples went anywhere, they gathered together to pray, trust God, and support one another. That is still what the church is today. A place where imperfect people show up, grow in faith, and help carry each other through life.

Sometimes the most faithful thing we do is simply show up. 💛

🌿🕊️ “You need help.”
Not exactly the greeting most people expected on a Sunday morning… 😄
This past Sunday’s message explored a simple truth:
✨ We all need help.
✨ We’re not meant to do life alone.
✨ And the good news is that God doesn’t leave us alone.
We reflected on Jesus’ promise of the Holy Spirit — the Advocate, Helper, and Comforter who walks with us through joy, struggle, questions, and everyday life.
We also reflected on the quiet, faithful love that shows up for others again and again — the kind of love many of us have experienced through mothers, grandmothers, mentors, and caregivers. ❤️
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, stretched thin, uncertain, or simply human… this message was for you.

This Sunday we will be gathering around a simple but important truth: we were never meant to carry life on our own.

So much of life pushes us to stay strong, stay composed, and figure things out by ourselves. But faith reminds us that help is not weakness. It is part of how we are designed to live. We are supported by God’s presence and by the people He places around us.

As we also step into Mother’s Day weekend, there is a quiet reminder in it as well of care that shows up, stays steady, and reflects the kind of love God offers us.

You are welcome to join us this Sunday as we explore this together. 💛

This Sunday we celebrate St. John the Evangelist and reflect on a simple but powerful theme: light. ☀️

From the very beginning, “Let there be light,” to John’s reminder that God is light, we are invited to see how that same light is revealed in Jesus and present in our lives today.

Together, we will explore how God’s light meets us in real life, not just when things are perfect, and how walking in that light means living honestly, with grace, forgiveness, and care for one another.

Like the slow return of spring after a long Canadian winter, when the snow begins to melt, the days stretch a little longer, and the first small buds push through the ground, this light is quietly at work, bringing new life in ways we might not notice at first.

You are known, you are welcomed, and there is a place for you here. Join us. 🙏🏼

🐑✨ **“Hey God… it’s me… why aren’t you answering?”** 📱

Ever feel like you’re trying to connect… but not quite hearing anything back?

This Sunday we’re exploring how **Jesus speaks to us as our Good Shepherd**—and how, in the middle of all the noise of life, we can actually learn to recognize his voice. 💛

It’s real, it’s relatable (yes… even a little funny 😄), and it just might change how you listen this week.

Come join us as we reflect on what it means to be known, guided, and led into a truly **abundant life** 🌿
