ROSALIND’s Crafting Group: Tuesday Aug 25th from 10 am to 2 pm, there is a gathering of creative folks, who want to share in creativity and conversation at St. Paul’s United Church, 3760 Carp Road, Carp, ON. Anyone in the Carp community or surrounding areas who would like to work on their knitting or sewing projects, or other creative crafts, while enjoying fellowship!! Drop in at any time, as noted above. Please bring a bag lunch.

Rural Transportation Services and Carleton University 4th-year Civil Engineering Students have been working on a research study to examine transportation preferences among residents of our rural Ottawa communities.
Their survey, which opened today and runs to Aug 10, asks about your current local travel habits and presents a series of hypothetical
transportation scenarios to better understand preferences.
The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. To participate, you must be a rural resident, be over the age of 18, and not require the use of Para Transpo.

As part of our Seniors at St. Paul's programs we have asked to share other events that are scheduled in the West Carlton Region. This is not a free program but may be of great interest to many. There is a second session coming up as well. Aug. 20 & 27.
