💙 Prayers for Our New Brunswick CWL Sisters & St. Simon’s Parish Community

We ask all members of the League to join us in prayer for the congregation of St. Simon’s Church in Caraquet, NB, and for our Sisters in the League who have been deeply affected by the recent fire. May God surround them with comfort, strength, and unwavering hope as they face the loss of their beloved place of worship.

We pray that their church may be rebuilt and restored, and that this milestone year becomes one of renewal, unity, and grace.

Let us hold our New Brunswick Sisters close in prayer, trusting that God will guide every step forward. ✝️💙

“It's a profound sadness this afternoon in the Acadian Peninsula, as the Saint-Simon community mourns the devastating loss of its parish church.

For generations, this place was so much more than just a building. It was the beating heart of Saint-Simon, a witness to decades of baptisms, weddings, and precious comfort in times of mourning.
Although the blaze took the structure, parishioners recall that the faith, memories, and solidarity that bind this close-knit community remain intact.

Our thoughts are with the families and residents of Saint-Simon today as they hold on to each other through this difficult loss.”
