Please pray for the people of the Philippines, where a magnitude-7.8 earthquake struck off the coast of Mindanao island in the southern part of the country at 7:37 a.m. local time on Monday, causing widespread damage and destruction. The number of those killed or injured is still being determined.

God of justice and compassion,
You call us to be peacemakers in a world that longs for healing.
Be present with those who grieve,
those who live in fear,
and those who continue to struggle for dignity and justice.
Strengthen all who seek truth.
Guide leaders in the ways of accountability and peace.
Move our hearts beyond silence into faithful action.
Help us to work together—across communities and faiths—
in solidarity and hope,
trusting in your vision of a just and peaceful world.
Amen.

Bethany United Coffee Break & Story Telling:

Bethany United Men’s Fellowship Club will be hosting a Community Coffee Break and Story Telling Time on Saturday, June 13th from 8-11 am at the Church Hall. Muffins, Tea/Coffee will be served. A Free-Will Offering in support of the Mission & Ministry (ie. General Expenses) of our Community of Faith will be gratefully received. Father’s Day Hymn Sing:

Bethany United will be holding a Father’s Day Hymn Sing on Sunday, June 21st at 9:30 am.

In Celebration & Memorials for the bulletin will be received up to noon, Thursday, June 18th. All donations will be in support of our Mission & Ministry.

All Parishioners are encouraged to review their annual giving progress thus far, and make a one-time gift to ensure our church is on track financially before we go into the summer season.
