A quick note to say we are going ahead with the meetings today, including the potluck and prayer time. It is slippery outside, but not the kind of treacherous of the last time. Caution will be needed when driving, and when walking in the parking lots. There is a layer of ice on the vehicles, too, so we need to allow ourselves extra time for all of that.

As always, the decision to attend is between you and the Lord, but we are 'open for business'...and at this point Jack Baker is on the road (he will call if he ends up turning around to go home).

Sorry for the delay in replying; just trying to confirm a couple of details.

The prayer meeting is going ahead for anyone who feels able to attend, but no one should feel any pressure to attend if there are any safety concerns.

Country Manor is cancelled for tonight, due to expectations of slippery conditions as the temperature drops in the evening.

This is a hymn I don't think I've heard before, by Horatius Bonar, that I just read in another FB group. I felt led to share it with you at ESCF:
