WHAT WE REALLY WRESTLE WITH
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh.”
2 Corinthians 10:3 (KJV)
No Christian SHOULD wrestle with the devil. Yes! If you keep thinking you must wrestle with him, then you make light of what Christ has already accomplished. Jesus has won the victory. We are not fighting for victory; we are living from it by faith.
The warfare of the believer is not against human beings, demons, or physical things. What we wrestle with are ideologies, arguments, and structures that the wisdom of this world has built inside us. These are the strongholds that oppose the knowledge of God.
Every time the Word corrects your thinking, tears down a lie, and replaces worldly wisdom with God's wisdom, a battle has been won. The goal is not to overcome the devil but to allow God's Word to overcome everything in you that does not look like Christ.
FAITH CONFESSION
I stand in Christ's victory. Every wrong mindset, ideology, and stronghold is brought into obedience to God's Word. My mind is renewed, and I think according to Christ.
