A few nuggets for meditation from the powerful preaching by Pastor Bharath as we study Faith - gift of the Holy Spirit.

- Faith is a gift of God, it is a gift that is bestowed to you. It is not produced by your labour in your capacity.

- All of us have a measure of faith. We all have the “saving faith” that enabled you to believe in the true living Saviour. As it says “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the Gift Of God… (Eph 2 8:9)

- The gift of faith is a supernatural endowment given to individuals for signs and wonders in the body of Christ.

- Seek earnestly the gift of faith. Let the Lord stir up that faith for the impossible. It is the unction of the Spirit giving assurance about what we do not see.

- Your faith and action should align. Faith without action is dead. Actions follows your faith. You step out, walk and put in action what you believe!

• विश्वास परमेश्वर का वरदान है। यह आपको प्रदान किया जाता है; यह ऐसा नहीं है जिसे आप अपने प्रयासों या सामर्थ्य से उत्पन्न करते हैं।
• हम सभी को विश्वास का एक माप दिया गया है। आपके पास वह "उद्धार देने वाला विश्वास" है जिसने आपको जीवित और सच्चे उद्धारकर्ता पर विश्वास करने योग्य बनाया। जैसा कि लिखा है: “क्योंकि अनुग्रह ही से तुम्हारा उद्धार विश्वास के द्वारा हुआ है; और यह तुम्हारी ओर से नहीं, वरन् परमेश्वर का दान है; और न कर्मों के कारण, ऐसा न हो कि कोई घमण्ड करे।” (इफिसियों 2:8–9)

A word of Wisdom and a word of Knowledge are revelatory gifts of the Sprit.

You are tapping from that infinite and excellence wisdom and knowledge of God.

It is that one word that you get for your individual situations for a certain time.

The word of Knowledge is what Joseph had when Pharoh saw a dream - Joseph interprets that his dreams mean Egypt will experience seven years of great abundance followed by seven years of severe famine.

The word of Wisdom was to store surplus grain during the good years to survive the shortage.

Dear child of God, the good news is that both is available to you. You are invited to earnestly seek them, and ask for it.

⁠James 1:5: "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you."

Proverbs 18:15: "An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge."

याकूब 1:5
"यदि तुम में से किसी को बुद्धि की घटी हो, तो परमेश्वर से माँगे, जो बिना उलाहना दिए सब को उदारता से देता है; और उसे दी जाएगी।"

नीतिवचन 18:15
"समझदार का मन ज्ञान प्राप्त करता है, और बुद्धिमानों का कान ज्ञान की खोज में लगा रहता है।"

Yesterday was our special Hindi service. It was the alpha Retreat Day led by our power couple - Brother Wesley and Sister Marjina.

Focused on the third person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit. Not third in rank, but the third one that was revealed in the order of time to the Church.

We started with worship, followed by watching Alpha episodes to learn about the Holyspirit and have warm group discussions on topics like “Who is the Holy Spirit?”, “What does the Holy Spirit do? And what it means in our day to day lives?”

We were also encouraged hearing testimonies about the Holy Spirit.
- from new born again couple, Gaurav and Sanchi and the transformation that has taken place from loneliness and anxiety to abundance of joy.
- Brother Sunny who was miraculously delivered in 2008 from drug addiction.

Our hearts are so full and we are excited on what is more to come. He is not done yet!

To God be the Glory . Amen.

John 14 16:17
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

Beautiful unveiling of truth about 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit, as we study about them over next few weeks.

“Gifts are not rewards or medals given for a good performance or for your own self esteem and self promotion.
But they are bestowed for the benefit of others, to edify, to build up, and strengthen the church.

The gift of speaking in tongues is the only gift that is for your own edification and strengthening, unless anyone can interpret.

But other gifts equip you to effectively minister and build up the body of Christ.
Earnestly desire them, so you are spiritually empowered to serve His Church”

उपहार (आत्मिक वरदान) अच्छे प्रदर्शन के लिए मिलने वाले पुरस्कार या पदक नहीं हैं, और न ही वे आपके आत्म-सम्मान या स्वयं के प्रचार के लिए दिए जाते हैं।
