Calgary Unitarians Welcome! Calgary Unitarians is a liberal religious organization in northwestern Calgary that welcomes you no matter where you are on your journey.

Sunday services begin at 10:30 am. Religious education for children is offered during Sunday worship. Wednesday Vespers are held every first and third Wednesday from 7:00 pm to 7:45 pm. We are a welcoming congregation! Regardless of your political beliefs, your theology or lack thereof, your gender identity or expression, affectional or sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age, social or economic

class, education, abilities, needs, or family structure, we invite you to come and see if we might be the religious community you are looking for. Childcare is offered during all of our services. We are a locally governed congregation affiliated with the Canadian Unitarian Council.

🍲 CU Fall Faire 2026 Food Truck Spotlight: 🍲

Huggabowl is a non-profit organization that serves nutritious meals to anyone who needs one. Huggabowl’s focus is on food accessibility and believes everyone deserves a nourishing meal served with dignity. Whether they have money in their wallet or not. When someone buys a meal, they create a token for a second bowl; which provides one free meal to someone in need.

Typically found near Olympic Plaza in downtown Calgary once a week, Huggabowl serves approximately 100 people within 2-3 hours before running out of food.
Huggabowl relies on several community partners to provide the food that is in such high demand. To help support Huggabowl's Food Accessibility for Everyone initiative, find them at the Calgary Unitarians Fall Faire on Sept 19, 2026 from 11am - 3pm or until food runs out.

Mirth & Dignity, the Canadian not-for-profit behind the wildly popular UU Hysterical Society, is holding a retreat this autumn in beautiful southern Ontario!  Spend four days/three nights at the Crieff Hills retreat centre (just outside of Guelph, ON) laughing together, dedicating time to rest and recharging, and connecting with other UUs.

Some of your favourite Canadian UUs are going to be there: UUHS founder Liz James, songleader Wendy Luella Perkins, storyteller Katharine Childs, and animator Amber Dawn Bellemare will be leading the programming!!  We can’t wait for you to join us!!
