WEEK 4 OF THE SUMMIT VIEW OLYMPICS! We cannot give you an update eon weight, because it's simply too much food to put in a car!!! This week collectively the teams collected 1003!!!!!! Cans/Jars/boxes of shelf stable fruits and vegetables! The team that donated the most is Red contributing over 300 pieces to that total. Much fun was had on the food taste test challenge with Green taking the victory there! Black collected the greatest variety of fruits and veggies bringing in cherry pie filling and hearts of palm!!!! Blue has a big week Winning spirit points and finishing second in food collection and Yellow is keeping it tight with max points for participation and fun!!! Congratulations teams! This week (our final week) everyone is encouraged to bring in cake mix to celebrate our dedication!

A wonderful recap of a busy weekend at Summit View United. Some of our youth enjoyed a fun sleepover, our Kidzone kids celebrated Pentecost with birthday cards and garden planting and we hosted our second annual plant exchange. In worship our choir shone and we celebrated communion together. ... We will do another post for the olympic updates!

This past week at Summit View, Including an Olympic update. This week we continued to come and see what the world God made for us holds and give thanks.

Our Olympic teams continued to shine gathering collectively 840 pounds of high protein items for the Calgary Food Bank - That is equivalent in weight to a full size MOOSE!!!

Congratulations Red for collecting the most this week - the spirits are high and the friendly competition is tight. We all know who the winner is in these games and we are so grateful for your support.
