You are much loved...

We are currently looking for a new church home. We're hoping to secure a location and begin gathering in person in September 2021.

What's the goal when we worship? Intimate encounter and transformation, not mere experience.

"In the Vineyard, congregational singing has been integral to attaining this kind of intimacy. Those who are filled with the Spirit, sing. Those who have the Word of Christ dwelling in them richly, sing. More than stage presentation and band arrangements, we value the voices of the people. Though the song is key, it cannot achieve the entirety of the goal we desire. Visual art, the motion of dance, instrumentation, liturgy, the use of light, colour, and other gestures are necessary for giving full expression to our worship." - Why Vineyard

We sing together in worship every Sunday afternoon, 4pm at the Hub. But are you hungry for more? Or for a more creative space to explore how to use your artistic gifts to curate a space for worship?

The second Wednesday of each month, 7pm @ the Hub, we hold a worship circle.

What is a worship circle? Another way to say it might be: "a worship music and arts jam session," where the atmosphere is casual, everyone has a voice, there's time to play and explore, and also space to encounter God's loving presence.

Everyone is welcome.

Hub Lunch is switching to... Wednesdays!

Every week, we gather for lunch and community at the Hub.

Drop in any Wednesday you'd like for a casual time of connecting. It's a joy to be together! Bring your friendly banter, your perspective on the news, your dog photos, your God questions, or simply your quiet presence.

BYO lunch. We'll have the coffee on!

Generous people live longer, laugh more, are less anxious, and have better relationships (among other things!).

How do we grow in generosity? Practice!

This Sunday, we get to practice together. Bring your walking shoes and a couple non-perishable food items for local food pantries.

See you Sunday at 4pm!

When Eunice preached on April 19, she started by showing a slide with various statements. Which of them best describes where you're at right now?

"I belong in church."

"I don't feel like I truly belong in any church community."

"I have used my spiritual gifts mainly for my personal walk with Jesus."

"My spiritual gifts aren't really needed for the greater Church to function."

"My spiritual gifts are needed for the health of the Church."

Sometimes there's a gap between what we believe and how we live.

In the Vineyard, we believe everyone has a part to play. If you are missing, so are your gifts. Have you ever considered the Church needs you?

“There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.” - 1 Corinthians 12:4-6

(p.s. if you want to listen to Eunice's sermon, check the link in our bio)

"There is more joy in giving than receiving."

Did you know this cultural saying/moral maxim was first spoken by Jesus? Check it out in Acts 20:35.

Have you practiced an act of generosity this week?

We're looking forward to chatting more about this in community groups this Sunday!

New to Epic? Join us at the Hub at 4:00pm. We look forward to seeing you there!

Are you tuning in this morning at 8am?

We are looking forward to listening to the Holy Spirit together this morning, alongside our national Vineyard Canada family. It is so rich to be able to see each other virtually through Zoom! And to be blessed by each other's gifts for creating Spirit-filled spaces through music, visual art, poetry, and teaching!

We are expectant that God will meet us as we take a posture of listening and surrender.

What has God been saying to you?

In the Vineyard, we believe everyone has a part to play, and that God speaks through us communally, not just through a single, charismatic leader. Has God given you a piece of the what he wants to say to the Church?

We're approaching Pentecost with a posture of prayer, alongside Vineyard communities from coast to coast! We're expectant for how the Holy Spirit will speak and work among us as we set aside time to listen.

For three days leading up to Pentecost (May 20, 21, 22), we will gather on Zoom each morning at 8am for a guided, interactive devotional time. You can expect worship, liturgy, the arts, scripture, and listening to the Holy Spirit together.

Check your weekly Epic email for the Zoom link. See you online!

Are you a Jr. or Sr. High youth, curious about getting a job (or terrified of getting a job??)
Join us for a fun brunch where youth can connect, ask questions, and learn practical tips for starting the job hunt journey!

This will be a relaxed and encouraging space to learn and to share — all while enjoying delicious food together. Youth leaders will share stories from their own first jobs (the good, the awkward, and the funny), we’ll play games, and we’ll help make finding a job feel a little less daunting and a lot more attainable.

Bring your questions, your curiosity, and a friend!

How fast can you read Acts?

A youth who visited us recently, said she read the book of Acts in a week. Do you want to take that as a challenge?

We are grateful for the hunger for Jesus that we see in our community, and in those around us. People in the book of Acts were spiritually hungry, too, and God met them in incredible ways. If it's been a while since you read this part of the Bible, maybe this month - as we approach Pentecost - could be the time!

Let us know what you discover.
