It is with sadness that we share the death of Fr. Michael Phi Tri Nguyen, OP, who passed away this morning at Foothills Hospital, at the age of 53.

Fr. Michael was the Pastor of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Calgary. He previously served as Pastor of Queen of Martyrs (Vietnamese) Parish in Edmonton.

We ask the faithful to keep Fr. Michael in their prayers, and to pray for his family, community, and Dominican brothers during this time of sorrow.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.

Funeral arrangements will be shared when available.
