Matthew 28:5-6
5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
Because HE is risen, WE also will rise!! What a glorious promise to those who believe on Him!
John 11:25-26
25 Jesus said unto her, “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
26 and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.” Believest thou this?
On this Easter Sunday, we pray for each one to have the true revelation of what the resurrection means to you, personally. Jesus died for you; He bore the shame of a sinners death so you could be free of sin. He broke the hold of death and the grave so you can live with Him for all eternity. What a glorious Saviour we have in Jesus, our Lord!
