AWAKE & READY
“The night is far gone, the day is near. Let us then lay aside the works of darkness and put on the armour of light.” — Romans 13:12

The night is passing. The day is near.
So what do we do now?

There are moments when we know we can’t keep living the same way. Something has to change. Something has to awaken.

God is calling.

Calling us to wake up.
To let go of what holds us back.
To step out of the darkness and into the light.
To live with courage, purpose, and hope.
Faith isn’t about sitting back and waiting for tomorrow.
It’s about saying YES to God today.

This Sunday, we’ll ask:

What is God calling us to leave behind?
What is God calling us toward?
And what could change if we truly lived awake to God’s presence?

Come as you are.
Come with your questions.
Come with your hopes.
Come ready to worship, listen, and take the next step.

The night is far gone.
The day is near.
God is calling.
Are you ready to answer?

“I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.” - Exodus 3:6

There’s something easy to miss in this verse.

God doesn’t introduce Himself to Moses with a list of what Moses needs to fix.

He simply says, “I am.”

Before Moses does anything, God is God.
Before Moses gets it right, God is faithful.
Before Moses knows what comes next, God already does.

That’s sovereignty.

God is not scrambling to catch up with your life.
He isn’t surprised by your story. He isn’t intimidated by what you’ve done - or what you’re facing.

And here’s the part that gets me:

The God who is completely sovereign is also completely loving. He knows us fully, and yet He doesn’t turn away. In Christ, there is no condemnation.

None.

So maybe you need to hear that this week.
You are not your worst moment.
You are not the sum of your failures.
You are not beyond the reach of grace.

God is still God.
Jesus is still enough.
And grace is still available.

Sunday is almost here.

COME. OFFER YOUR LIFE TO GOD.

“The invitation has never changed.”

“I appeal to you therefore, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.” - Romans 12:1

God has given us mercy.
Christ has given us grace.
Now He invites us to give ourselves to Him.

Not just our Sundays.
Not just our words.
Our whole lives.

Come as you are - but don’t leave unchanged.

This Sunday, step away from the noise and come into the presence of the God who calls you to live wholly for Him.

Around the Word and Table, we worship, we listen, we receive, and we offer ourselves again to Christ.

Bring your burdens.
Bring your questions.
Bring your hopes.
Bring your whole self.

Come to worship.
Come to surrender.
Come to be renewed.
Come and offer your life as a living sacrifice.

Because of His mercy, we come.
In response to His grace, we give ourselves.
The invitation is still open.

“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity.” Psalm 133:1

The Name Above Every Name
11th Sunday after Pentecost
Sunday, Aug. 9 | 10 a.m.
St. Paul’s Anglican Church — In person & online

"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." — Romans 10:13

There is hope for every heart. No life is too broken. No burden too heavy. No distance too far.

The Lord hears every cry. He welcomes every seeker. He meets us with mercy and surrounds us with grace.

When we call upon His name, fear gives way to faith. Shame gives way to forgiveness. Brokenness gives way to healing.

Christ came to seek the lost, to restore the weary, to strengthen the weak, and to bring us home.

His love never turns away. His mercy never runs dry. His invitation still stands.

Come with your questions. Come with your struggles. Come with your joys. Come just as you are.

For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. In Him, there is healing. There is hope.
There is new life.

Come and discover the grace that restores, the love that never fails, and the hope that endures forever.

After Pentecost, the Spirit is still at work.

This Sunday, we hear God's promise to Jacob:

"You shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, for you have striven with God and with humans, and have prevailed." - Genesis 32:28

In Ordinary Time, we discover that God's work of transformation didn't end at Pentecost - it continues in us. Like Jacob, we are shaped through life's joys and struggles, and God meets us with grace that renews, restores, and calls us into a deeper identity. We are not defined by where we have been, but by the God who journeys with us and gives us a new name.

As we celebrate Heritage Sunday, we give thanks for the many cultures, stories, and traditions that enrich our life together. Each heritage reflects God's faithfulness across generations, and together our diversity bears witness to the breadth of God's love and the unity we share in Christ.

Please bring a dish to share - either one from your own cultural heritage or one inspired by another culture. If possible, label your dish with its country of origin so everyone can learn a little about the different traditions represented.

Don't let not bringing a dish keep you away! If you're unable to bring something to share, we'd still love for you to join us for this special time of food, fellowship, and celebration.

9th Sunday after Pentecost — Rest in God's Love
July 26 • 10:00 AM • St. Paul's

"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose." — Romans 8:28

God's love is constant.

When life feels uncertain, God's love remains.
When plans change, God's love endures.
When we cannot see the way ahead, God's love is already at work.

In Christ, we are held by a love that is faithful, steadfast, and sure—a love that never abandons us and never fails.

This Sunday, we gather to hear the good news that God is working for good through his saving love and calling us to trust in his purpose.

Come and be renewed through:
• Prayer
• Praise
• Holy Communion
• God's Word

Come as you are.

Rest in God's love.
Be strengthened by God's grace.
Be nourished at Christ's table.
