Today we said goodbye to one of our long time members, Richard Bethune. It was a lovely service and we are grateful to the Royal Canadian Legion for providing a full honour guard, bugler and bagpipes. Thank you to all who attended in person and via Zoom.
Farewell Richard!

With thanksgiving, we announce the election of the Rt. Rev. Shane Parker as the 15th Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada. We give thanks for the laity, clergy and bishops of the General Synod who discerned in prayer and faith; for the nominees who offered themselves in trust; and for the Diocese of Ottawa, which will also enter a time of transition.

Bishop Shane will be installed as Primate during Closing Worship on Sunday, June 29. Join us via livestream at gs2025.anglican.ca/live as we pray for his ministry and for the whole Church.

Happy Easter! Lovely in-person service on Easter Sunday with Rev Norman as well as saying farewell to him as he is moving to Vancouver Island this summer to take on a 2-point parish. Wish him all the best but we'll miss him!

Thank you all for a wonderful Christmas Tea and Sale for the Foodbank! Yesterday's sale was a huge success! We had full tables for the tea and as many more came just for the sale!
A huge Thank you to the Bowness Ratepayers Association for the use of the Scout Hall... it's a beautiful place to have the Tea!
Congratulations to Rozanne for all her hard work in taking over the organizing from Marilyn during her absence. And to Chris for stepping in to help with organizing!
Thank you to all who came to the Tea and Sale and supported the Foodbank in so many ways!
And Finally another huge Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who made it all happen! I won't name people as I fear to miss someone but you know who you are! It can't be done without all the people chipping in and helping... from baking and donating sale items, to pricing and prepping ahead of time, to setup (including hauling it all over) and cleanup and to being there (on your feet!) throughout the whole event. So much work goes into the 3 hour event!
We all had a marvelous time and it was great to see so many people enjoy the day!
