The Salvation Army Berkshire Citadel Community Church

We are a Christian Church, with a welcoming community of people. Our Church services are at 10:30 Sunday mornings.

But we are not limited to Sunday, we have things happening during the week. We love have new people walk through our doors.

Summer is quickly coming to an end, the school year is upon us. It’s time to get back to church.
Saturday Sept 19 we will be having our carnival, then Sunday we will Rally the troops to start the fall season.
The Carnaval is always a great way to bring the community to our church.
As always we need volunteers.
Plan to come and enjoy being together.

While visiting Ontario, Bob has had the opportunity to play with a band at Music camp.
He is now looking forward to getting our band program going again in September.
If anyone would like to learn or if you all ready play you would be welcome to come and make music.
Watch for more details about a starting date.

Today we were invited to gather items for the thrift Store at our community clean up.
Thanks to those folks that volunteered.
The relationships we build are valuable. Because of the relationship we have built with the thrift stores they have asked to use our building for a job fair in the fall.

Berkshire Citadel will be hosting Neon, for a worship training weekend.
They are a fantastic group who will come a teach us about many aspects of worship.
Hands on training for musicians, people who run the sound board, easy worship.
It will be a fantastic weekend of learning.
Open to anyone who has an interest and would like to learn.

A big thank you to the volunteers who came to help distribute backpacks today. Many happy children received backpacks to head back to school with.
Big thank you to Frank for fixing the pothole in the parking lot and repairing some of our chairs.
Volunteers really do make our church a better place.

The Salvation Army Crew working at the fires in BC. Tom from our Corps is in the back.
Keep them in your prayers. They do more than just serve meals, they serve Salvation and Hope.

Church parking lot sale. No, we are not selling the parking lot. We are having a garage sale without the Garage.
Lots of interesting items. Something for everyone.
You don’t want to miss it.
All proceeds go toward our church programs.
