West Potluck Sunday

Good food. Good community. And a good reminder about meekness and the blessing for those whose strength is under control.

Join us this Sunday at West or East as we consider the words of Jesus, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they will be filled."

Check out our website wearecapstone.ca (link in bio) for more info on gathering times and locations.

Wanna hear and pray with us about some things we sense God is leading us to this coming year?

LAUNCH SUNDAY

We sure packed a lot into Launch Sunday!

We
 • worshipped and prayed

 • were reminded of Capstone's vision and our need to pursue it within our God-given limitations,

 • heard from our newest staff member, Micah Ens, about his new role in Forest Lawn in partnership with The Message Canada Message Canada

• we commissioned two families to live on mission in Forest Lawn with The Message Canada

 • we celebrated communion

• and we connected in community over donuts afterwards!

So Capstone, let's go! Let's launch into a new season of pursuing Jesus and his kingdom in increasing measure!

Unless the Lord builds the house,
the builders labour in vain.
Psalm 127:1

We long to know more of the heart of the Father, see more of Jesus and his kingdom, and experience more of the power of the Spirit working in us and through us.

We do not want to labour in vain!

So let's be a church of prayer.
Let's get up early or adjust our dinner time.
let's bring our families and invite our friends.
Let's do whatever we need to do to put God first, and together see the LORD build his house.
