‘when you have seen me, you have seen the Father’ (John 14:9b).

What Jesus did, how He related to people, what He valued, what He said, and how He lived his life, all revealed what God the Father is like. Jesus displayed how deeply God values broken and lost people. He revealed how approachable God is, and He showed us that we have a Father in heaven who made us in His image and that we’re seen, known, and loved.

My hope is that on this Father’s Day you would grasp how deeply you are loved and that YOU are a delight to the Father’s heart!

Our first long weekend of the spring/summer season is here! We love that part of our church rhythm is to not gather in the building but instead gather in a different way as family and friends expressing gratitude to God through rest. Whatever that looks like for you, be it hiking or gardening or going for brunch or simply getting extra sleep, enjoy!! We are the church, beyond the walls of any building, we get to worship, pray, encourage and uplift one another in a different way on long weekends with Jesus at the centre.

We look forward to gathering together again Sunday May 28th in person and online. See you then!

As we align ourselves to the Kingdom's way of living, peace and joy are made available to us continually, no matter what the circumstance. Peace and joy together eradicate negativity! Be of good courage today as we keep our eyes on what God is doing; the schemes of the enemy to distract us will fall.

This Sunday we invite you to witness, celebrate, and support these ones who have decided to follow Jesus as they take the next step to be baptized. Baptism is a powerful act of obedience where we are identifying with Him in His death, burial, and resurrection to new life. Being lowered into the water represents the death and burial of our sinful nature. Coming up out of the water represents Jesus cleansing and the promise of being a new creation in Him (2 Corinthians 5:17, Ephesians 2:4-6). Paul says in Romans 6:3-4 “Sharing in his death by our baptism means that we were co-buried with him, so that when the Father’s glory raised Christ from the dead, we were also raised with him. We have been co-resurrected with him so that we could be empowered to walk in the freshness of new life”. Thank you Lord! A message from Melanie:

I have been steeping in the words, 'Great is Thy Faithfulness' as each day I have faced challenges on multiple sides recently. Up through the night, where worry and fear try to take hold, I choose again to set my mind on Jesus, and declare the truth that He promised me enough grace to overcome anything, and that He is with me through it all.

Maybe this is a specific word of encouragement for you, or maybe just a gentle reminder that no matter what you are facing today, there is enough grace to sustain you, carry you, and help you overcome any obstacle. You can be kept in the Shalom of God at all times, you need only to fix your eyes on Him. He promised to never leave us, which means He is right there with us even in the darkest and loneliest places. And on this day, He promised to give you all you need. So taste the sweetness of His perfect peace today, made available to you whenever you need it.

Last week was filled with so many incredible moments as we saw the entire body being ministered to from mama & me, young adults, women's hope night, men's breakfast and the Sunday service.

Last Sunday we had the opportunity to hear a message about PEACE from our worship pastor, Melanie. She explained the Hebrew meaning of the word peace which is שָׁלוֹם .
The first is Shin(ש)-a symbol for teeth, teeth that crush and destroy (DESTROY) The second is Lamed(ל) -Shepard’s staff or (AUTHORITY)
The third is Vav(ו)-iron nail, or hook (CONNECTED WITH)
The fourth is Mem-(ם)waters (CHAOS AND CONFUSION)
Destroy Authority Connected With Chaos and Confusion
