We’ve gotten recent reports of scammers posing as our WhatsApp admin members, calling members, and asking them to repeat codes, etc, etc.

Please remember to never give this type of information over the phone, regardless of who is on the other line, even if they do say a familiar name. It is very easy to now replicate voices, technologically change accents, etc.

Did someone say food? Well we had an absolute feast (and blast) at our Eid potluck today!

Despite the harsh weather today, we had many sisters and children who weathered the cold and brought some delicious food to share. Amidst some excellent decoration by our volunteers, the festivities went amazing, so much so, we overstayed our time (oops).

After food and chai, we had face painting, quizzes and gifts, henna, and of course, the classical music chairs. Thank you to everyone who made Ramadan beautiful and joined us in celebrating Eid today!

Did you know we’ve arranged an Eid potluck this Sunday?

We have a fun afternoon planned (anyone say face painting 👀), so we’re excited to invite all sisters and children this Sunday at 2pm. Eid was last week, but that certainly doesn’t mean we need to let the festivities die. See you this Sunday for some more Eid fun!
