OCC Packing Party 2025

79 filled boxes plus money donations showed how great and blessed our congregation is at joining hands and hearts together for the amazing OCC Project year after year!

Thank you all for participating and responding so kindly to such a wonderful initiative and please continue to pray for Samaritans Purse as they work hard to deliver these boxes carrying Good News of Great Joy around the world!

Yesterday we had our Annual Invite, Build, Equip conference. The day included topics “Why our Worship Space Matters” and “The Attractionsl Church Model is Failing.” We also enjoyed lunch and fellowship time together. Thank you to all who helped make the day possible.

Our services will begin at 7 PM.

ONCE AGAIN, WE DRAW NEAR TO THE SACRED SEASON OF LENT, which begins on Ash Wednesday, March 5. We will hold special services to lead us to the cross and a deeper appreciation of all that our Saviour has done for us in His death and resurrection. Our theme is The Blessings in the Blood of Jesus, and we will be examining what Jesus’ blood has accomplished as told in the book of Hebrews. We will again have a Lenten rotation, sharing together with St Matthew Lutheran Church, Calgary, Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd - Calgary, and Shepherd of Peace Lutheran Church. Pastors will be travelling to each church to share a sermon each week. Our services begin each Wednesday at 6:30 pm. We hope you will join us. We will also be livestreaming the Lent services on our YouTube channel.
