Hey FA Kids & Families!!

We are kicking off our annual in-house kids camp tomorrow!! We are so excited for all the kids to join us this week for a time of fun, games and going deeper with the Lord!

Our camp theme this year is Journey Through the Wilderness! Throughout the week, kids will discover that God is our faithful guide who goes before us, stays with us, protects us, and leads us even when the path feels uncertain. As we learn to trust Him, He lights our way and directs every step we take. Because He is our guide, we can walk in His light, shine His love, and bring hope to others.

Last week we started a brand new series titled “Better Together”. In this series, we will be learning that God created us for more and has called us to a life in relationships with our family, friends and community around us! As we steward these relationships, we are able to love, encourage and lean on each other as Christ calls us and learn that life is truly better together!

Tonight is the last Discipleship Night for the semester!
Here is what to know:

🌸Kids Club is having a Hawaiian themed close off party with a prize for the best dressed on theme. There will also be McDonald’s for the winning grade in the grade showdown!
📚Parents Club is having their wrap up party reading off the last chapter with some snacks!
🧸SNM group is having their last session before the fall led by Pastor Heather!

Last week, we wrapped up Missions Month! Throughout the month of May, we focused on what it means to live on mission, both in our city and around the world.

It was so encouraging to see families participate in a variety of ways; From our FA Kids On Mission event where we prepared hampers for those in need, to our Sunday “On Mission” series, where kids learned how they can live on mission in their everyday lives, and finally through our Kingdom Builders Missions Offering on the last Sunday of the month.

Through all of this, we’re reminded of the impact we can make when we come together. In total, FA Kids was able to raise over $750!

Thank you to each of you for partnering with us, and teaching your children how to give and sow into what God is doing locally, nationally and globally. Your generosity will help make a lasting impact in the lives of many and help others come to know Jesus!

🐑New series alert✨
Last Sunday we kicked off our brand new series titled “Formed in the Fields”. In this series, we will be going through the story of David and how he had to go through a formation process after being anointed to be king at a young age! In his waiting, he remained patient and faithful to God in the fields as a shepherd, while faced difficult challenges and decisions. All of that allowed for him to grow and be shaped into the person he needed to be for the moment God fulfilled his promise!
