Our church loves to gather together in community - especially when food is involved. Our Community Engagement Team is happy to bring back Ludicrous Lunch again this year. This event gives us an opportunity to mix and mingle with different people in different homes.

This is how it works…you sign up to host or simply to participate by attending a meal at someone else’s home on November 15th after the morning service. Each grouping will be coupled with 6-8 people and the rest is up to you. Enjoy each other, tell stories, share memories and grow in community. Official sign-ups for this event are at the Info Centre.

Meet Isaac, Our Family Ministries Director!

Isaac has been involved in ministry for the better part of 15 years. He started out as a worship leader before serving as a youth pastor for several years with the Redeemed Christian Church of God. He also served as the coordinating minister of the Kids church during his time with the denomination. He served at Aspen Heights Retirement Residence as a bible study teacher for a year in a volunteer capacity and as the Associate Director of Mill Creek Camp in the summer of 2025. Isaac’s experience cuts across pastoring, discipling, and worship leading. Isaac holds a Masters degree in Computer Science and is on the verge of completing his Master of Divinity program at Ambrose University. Isaac first connected with Dalhousie Church in May 2026 when he was accepted as a Pastoral Intern and has since become a part of the Dalhousie Church family.

Outside of ministry, Isaac enjoys playing chess with friends, reading and making music with his wife and daughters.

Fun Fact: Isaac’s favorite colour is blue and he doesn’t mind a wardrobe of different shades of blue clothes.
