“I was so hungry and they gave me food… right now that is what I need is the help, and this place helps me.”

The heartbeat of this ministry is to help in practical ways while we pray for and share the love of God with the hurting and vulnerable.

1 John 3:18 says “Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.”

As we pursue a true and living faith, expressed in obedience to the words of Jesus and His teaching passed down through the Apostles, we find there is nothing that communicates His great love for the world better than to love not just with words but with whatever practical help is needed by those who come through our doors.

Thank you to all our volunteers and supporters for making this possible.

There is no mistaking the impact you are having on this community. This precious woman says she feels the prayers, it brings her to tears, and that the help provided makes all the difference.

We know restoration is possible for all, and it begins with the love of God being expressed in tangible ways.

HIs love is the light of the world and it is needed as much now as it ever was.

In 2025 it is estimated that about 300 people passed away on the streets of Calgary, in 2023 it was reported that over 400 lives were lost.

Having a safe place to go to find help can mean the difference between living or not.

EPVOC and HER Victory partner together to meet the pressing needs of those experiencing or at risk of homelessness, the working poor, and the vulnerable. Connecting people with practical help and real hope is at the heart of what we do because we believe that restoration is possible no matter the circumstances. We believe it and we have also seen it.

Thank you to all the volunteers and supporters who make the outreach possible, the impact is tangible, restoration begins with compassion and care.

So grateful to have Pastor Dave Meyers with us in person to teach the first course of Fasttrack at EPVOC!

Growing in faith and in your calling takes intentionality and we are excited about the many students who have showed up hungry for personal growth in their walk with God and to learn more about what it means to answer the call with our whole heart, soul, mind and strength.

Special thanks to Pastor Dave Meyers for being with us to teach us about the “Habits of Grace.”

Looking forward to the upcoming weeks being built up together, as Philippians 2:13 says, “for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.”

Today is a painfully cold day in Calgary, and for those without food and shelter a day like this could be too much.

EPVOC Is so grateful for the support we have in this community from the countless people who have stepped up to show compassion, to feed the hungry, and to point those in need towards help and hope.

Today coming in from the bitter -25 C cold I was greeted by this beautiful halo over the outreach Church. A lighthouse in a time that is so dark and scary for so many.

Thank you to all our volunteers and supporters. Thank you for partnering with us to extend comfort and practical helps, and to share the tangible love of God with a community that needs it so very much.

Micah 6:8 says,

“He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God?”

What would we do without all of you coming together to fulfill this commission?

God shines on and through you!

Jesus is still doing miracles.

He is still the light of the world, and he is still multiplying bread for the hungry.

Praise God for His steadfast love and for all of you who embody it today!

We are so grateful for all the volunteers and support that has come from our friends and ROVC over the years. Thank you so much for the love you have shown to our community 🙏🏻 We look forward to the new year and the things God has planned for us together in 2026!

A big thank you to Healing Hands Health & Education Society for coming to serve at EPVOC this past Sunday. We so appreciate your kindness! At Eastpoint Victory Outreach Church, we are strongly convicted by the words of Jesus, that loving must be with more than words but in deed and in truth. It is such a privileged to partner with brothers and sisters who share that conviction to help the community see and feel the love of God through Christ and through His people. If you are in Forest Lawn or the surrounding Calgary area. come join us Sundays at 11:00 AM for service and enjoy a meal with us afterward 🙏🏻
