Calgary Inter-Mennonite is a Christian congregation in the Anabaptist-Mennonite tradition, consisting of people who gather to support and care for one another, and to explore questions of faith and meaning. The congregation of CIM is made up of all those who wish to gather together. There is no formal membership; however, our participation in this faith community reflects the values of commitment,

Calgary Inter-Mennonite Church is located on Treaty 7 which is the traditional territory of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai First Nations), the Tsuut-ina First Nation, the Stoney Nakoda (Chiniki, Bearspaw & Wesley First Nations), as well as the home of the Metis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.

Sunday, September 6th is Calgary's Annual Pride Parade! This year you can choose to march in the parade or meet along 9th Avenue to watch the parade. Marchers: the staging is starting at 5th Street SW along 9th Avenue and continues to the west, we'll have more precise numbers and details soon. The parade starts at noon, join the marching churches at 11:30am at the latest.

It's that time of year again where we can look forward to gathering under the trees together at Camp Valaqua!

Our Annual Fall Retreat is taking place September 11-13.

It will be a time to reconnect after busy summers and transitioning to the fullness of the fall season in such a beautiful place.

Learning Session
On Saturday at 10am we will have a session entitled Peace & Justice: What Matters to Us? led by Lauren Harms & April Braun. We'll focus on our commitment to peace, justice, reconciliation and care for our neighbours and ask - where do we put our energy next?

Pre-Pride festivities begin this Sunday August 30th. During our service Riki Entz will be sharing about their work experiences in creating inclusive spaces for others in our last instalment of our summer series CIM Works! Our service will begin at 10:30am. You're welcome to come and enjoy coffee together before and during the service.
