City Wide Then Let Us Sing Concert – September 11, 2026.
Save the date and be sure to join in this concert celebration introducing our new United Church Hymn Book, ‘Then Let Us Sing’. The concert will be Friday, September 11, 2026, at 7:00 am at McDougall United Church, 8516 Athabasca St. SE, Calgary.
The Reverend Joanne Anquist of McDougall United Church is busy organizing an exciting musical introduction to the book and will involve the Reverend Dr. Lisa Waites who was a member of the Hymn Book Committee in the selection of the music to be offered. The concert will feature the three kinds of music in the book: "Praise Music, Traditional Hymn tunes set to new words, and new Hymns."
Anyone interested in singing in the mass choir for this concert is invited to attend a "Mass Choir Rehearsal" on Thursday, September 3 2026, 7:00 - 9:00 pm at McDougall United Church.
