In Loving Memory of Marhooma Shakeela Naqvi Bint-e-Mahboob Ali Naqvi

A Majlis-e-Aza and Majlis-e-Soyem was held today at the Hussaini Association of Calgary to remember Marhooma Shakeela Naqvi and offer prayers for the eternal peace and forgiveness of her departed soul.

Marhooma was the beloved mother of Br Hasan Naqvi, Sis Irum Naqvi, Sis Roohi Naqvi, and mother-in-law of Br Vasee Jafari and Br Shadab Naqvi.

Following her sad demise two days ago and her burial yesterday, family members, relatives, friends, and members of the community gathered today to pay their respects and offer their condolences.

The program began at 7:00 PM with Namaz-e-Maghribain Ba-Jamaat, followed by the recitation of the Holy Quran and Hadith-e-Kisa. Salaam and Soz-Khwani were also presented in remembrance of Ahlul Bayt (A.S.).

The Majlis continued with Dars-e-Quran delivered by Qibla Maulana Zesham Ahmed Sahib, who shared valuable teachings and reflections from the Holy Quran.

Following the Majlis, Hussaini Matami Dasta presented Noha-Khwani and Matam.

Fatiha-Khwani and Dua-e-Maghfirat were also offered for the departed soul of Marhooma Shakeela Naqvi. The gathering concluded with the distribution of Tabarruk among the attendees.

The bereaved family sincerely thanks all Momineen and Mominaat, relatives, friends, and community members who attended the Majlis, offered their condolences, and remembered Marhooma in their prayers.

May Allah (SWT) grant Marhooma Shakeela Naqvi a highest rank in Jannat-ul-Firdous, bless her soul with eternal peace, and grant Sabr-e-Jameel to the bereaved family. Ameen.

إِنَّا لِلّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un

It is with profound grief and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marhooma Shakeela Naqvi Sahiba, beloved mother of **Brother Hasan Naqvi, Sister Iram Naqvi , Sister Roohi Naqvi **, and mother-in-law of Brother Vasi Jaffri and Brother Shadab Naqvi .

Marhooma had been seriously ill for the past several days and was receiving treatment at a Calgary hospital.

We pray to Almighty Allah (SWT) to grant Marhooma complete maghfirah, elevate her status, illuminate her grave, make all stages of her onward journey easy, and grant her a high and honoured place in the proximity of Bibi Fatima al-Zahra (SA).

We also pray that Allah (SWT) grants patience, strength and comfort to the entire bereaved family during this difficult time.

The Ghusl, Kafan and burial will take place in Husaini Association of Calgary (Garden of Fafima). Further details will be shared with the community shortly.

All Momineen and Mominaat are kindly requested to recite Surah Al-Fatiha for the Isaal-e-Sawab of Marhooma and, if possible, give Sadaqah for the ease of her onward journey.

May Allah (SWT) accept all prayers and acts of charity offered on her behalf.
