Established in 1888 with the See City of Calgary, the Anglican Diocese of Calgary is one of thirty dioceses belonging to the Anglican Church of Canada and one of ten dioceses in the ecclesiastical Province of Rupert's Land. The Anglican Diocese of Calgary includes approximately 20,000 Anglicans in 92 congregations in the southern part of the Province of Alberta. From the Saskatchewan border in the

east to the British Columbia border in the west; from the U.S.A. border in the south to an east-west line running through Lacombe just north of Red Deer in the north, the Anglican Diocese of Calgary encompasses an area of approximately 82,000 square miles.

Sometimes when we are waiting for the Lord to answer us it can be easy to get impatient. We wonder if the Lord has heard us, or if we will ever receive an answer. The truth is, the Lord rarely answers us earlier than we need him to, but he never answers us late!!! Even though it can be difficult, we can trust him and his ways. He knows exactly what we need and exactly when we need it. We can always trust him to answer us and help us.

How wonderful it is to be reminded that we can always trust in the Lord!

this week, we pray for their year of learning and for all those who support them.

Lord Jesus
Thank you for this new year of learning. We pray for students, teachers & all others involved in school communities. May they be strengthened in wisdom, may they have the courage to face the challenges of each day & may they find you to be the source of all truth. Amen.

No matter what the road ahead looks like....whether it is uncertain, lonely and confusing or hopeful and encouraging, the Psalmist reminds us that ALL the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness. If you continue forward following the Lord's guidance, He will be with you the entire way.
