We will all face moments in our lives when we feel overwhelmed or even afraid of the circumstances and situations we face. Remember that even in the midst of those moments, we can still trust the Lord.

We encourage you to spend some time in God's Word today.

Our reading from 2 Timothy this morning reminds us that we were never meant to rely on our own strength alone. Instead, we are called to be strong in the grace that is found in Christ Jesus. Our strength is not rooted in ourselves, but in Him.

May we be people who are so deeply anchored in Christ that we can trust that He will faithfully provide the strength we need to face whatever lies before us.

When was the last time you made it your goal to help others know that the Lord is worthy of praise? It is the stories we share with others that will allow others to know why the Lord is so great! Knowledge of what God has done in past generations is a source of encouragement to us now...will your stories be remembered by the people who are close to you? Will they know the impact the Lord had on your life? May we all endeavour to share our stories so that the Lord's name may continue to be celebrated in all generations!

How do you keep your thoughts on Jesus throughout your day? It's easy to overcomplicate this...but it can be as simple as saying his name when you need him. Or stopping to say a prayer when you need guidance, patience or to give thanks when things are going well.

As the hymn says:
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
