Western culture and values are often seen as individualistic and scarcity focused. They lead to competition, comparison, and greed, especially in the workforce. “I’ve got to get mine before someone else or I won’t have any!” Jesus' culture and values are wholistic and abundant. We have already been given everything we need and then some! You may have a dream job, nightmare job, or something in between. What if your time in the workplace focused instead on representing Jesus to those around you? And what if you focused on being a servant leader, a compassionate co-worker, or even a prayerful patron on your lunch break? Take time to see the workplace around you as part of God’s provision for your life in this very moment. How does that shift your prayers, praises, and requests to him throughout the week?

Moses spent time with God on behalf of the Israelites, his family and loved ones. He knew their weaknesses and how quickly they had and would turn from God when things got tough. Moses also knew God. He trusted in God’s love and faithfulness. He trusted him to fulfill his covenant with his people. How much time have you spent with God on behalf of your family, not asking God to ‘fix’ them, but rather rejoicing in the love you share for them? We experience joy from spending time in God’s presence. We rejoice in our own transformation becoming evident to others. And what a blessing to share God’s commands with our family, not just with words, but with our actions, time, presence, and prayers. Moses’ love for the Israelites was tangible action and sustained connection with God. May your love for family be like Moses’: clear and real, fully grounded in relationship with God.

In God’s kingdom, no one is overlooked. Jesus reveals a shepherd who notices the one missing and goes after it. We often measure value differently, but God’s heart moves toward the overlooked and the hurting. As his love shapes us, we begin to see people differently. Not as interruptions, but as deeply valued. And we are invited to reflect that same heart in how we care for others. Who might God be placing on our hearts to notice this week?

When the man discovered the treasure, his response was immediate and joyful. This parable reminds us that God’s kingdom is not just valuable, it is everything. When we begin to see Jesus more clearly, our priorities start to shift. What once felt urgent loses its grip. What once seemed distant becomes deeply meaningful. Following him is not about losing something precious. It is about discovering what is truly precious. Surrender begins to feel less like sacrifice and more like joy. When our hearts recognize the treasure, letting go becomes an act of freedom. What might God be inviting us to release so we can more fully embrace his kingdom?

We often look for clear signs that God is working, something visible and unmistakable. Yet Jesus points us to something small, almost forgettable, a seed. It does not demand attention, yet within it, life quietly unfolds. In our daily lives, God’s kingdom often begins the same way: a gentle response instead of anger, a whispered prayer, a quiet act of kindness. These moments seem small, but they carry eternal weight. Growth is already happening beneath the surface. God is not absent in the ordinary. He is present, and we are learning to trust him even when we do not see immediate results. Where might we be overlooking small beginnings where God is already at work?

It is very humbling to remember that Jesus came to call sinners to himself — not people who think they are good enough on their own merit. If Jesus has called us to follow him, that means we are sick and need to be healed. In what ways has Jesus healed you and is continuing to heal you? Which seasons of your life have shown God’s mercy to be evident? Write down your redemption story. Ask God for the courage to share your story. Pray that it will guide others to the Great Physician and Healer of our souls.

The entirety of our Christian faith hinges on the resurrection of Christ. On the cross is where our Lord, Savior, and King is enthroned. On the cross he triumphantly defeats the forces of evil on behalf of all humanity. The empty tomb proves Jesus’ victory over sin, death, and evil. He gives all people full access to God so that anyone who places their trust in Christ will live with God forever. Pray through Psalm 103. Give thanks to God for giving us new birth into everlasting life and a hope that will never fade away.
