Hello Everyone!

Welcome back to Kickoff Month and our preaching series, "Life Hacks".

At our South campus this Sunday, we'll hear from Intern Tyler Dobson about how our habits can determine a lot about how our lives operate. We often try to develop good ones, but why do we still develop bad ones? Why do we end up doing things we don't even want to do? Let's explore God's Word in Proverbs and Romans as He understands our habits.

At our North campus, Pastor Jeff Edwards will look at what the key is to a happy marriage? There is a principle that many Proverbs in the bible talk about. Whether you are married, or pre-married, or re-married, or single supporting friends who are married, come hear some life hacks about relationships.

Hello Everyone!

Welcome back to Kickoff Month and our preaching series, "Life Hacks".

At our South campus this Sunday, we'll hear that Pastor Kara Wilfley went back to her hometown of Hilbre, Manitoba this summer, 225 km north of Winnipeg in the Interlake. Within 10 minutes of her arrival, seven locals had come over to see who was visiting and asked with curiosity, “Kara - is that you? What’s new?” As we move into a new season with a new name, how does God see old and new and what does he have for us in it? Kara will preach from Isaiah 43:14-24.

At our North campus, Pastor Valerie Salkeld will look at various Proverbs about work and what the Bible says about it. But what does that look like if we're retired? Or a student? Or unemployed? Let's talk about enjoying the work God has given us.

At our North campus this Sunday, Pastor Jeff Edwards will give us some “Life Hacks!” In our busy world, who couldn’t use inspiration to help improve our lives? This fall, we will cover a series of practical messages coming out of the wisdom of Proverbs in the bible. First, we see that the source of all wisdom is a good relationship with God. Jeff will use Proverbs 9:10-12 as his text.

At our South campus, Pastor Valerie Salkeld will look at various Proverbs about work and what the Bible says about it. But what does that look like if we're retired? Or a student? Or unemployed? Let's talk about enjoying the work God has given us.

Hello Everyone!

This is Kick-off Sunday! Actually, it will be Kick-off September! This month, we will hear about all the different ministries firing up again for the fall, including our Discovery Zone and youth and all our groups. You can think about what interests you. We will begin a new sermon series called “Life Hacks”. There are new flyers available for you to invite and talk it up with friends and neighbours. And we will hear someone share each week about the impact God is having in our great little church. See you at our Kick-off!

Hello Everyone!

Can you believe that we're already heading into September?! Where does the time go? This Sunday, we'll be having an all-church service at our South campus at 333 Midpark Way SE.

This Sunday, Pastor Jeff Edwards will reveal our church's new name! As we begin a new ministry year, the Leadership Team and Naming Committee are pleased to announce the fruit of their labours. We will look at how this new name unifies, propels, and connects us with who we are as a special church in our neighbourhoods. (This announcement will be posted and emailed as well so everyone will hear the news simultaneously.) Jeff will use 1Kings 17:1-8, 18:1, 41-46 as his texts.

Hello Everyone!

At our North campus this Sunday, we'll hear from Intern Tyler Dobson. Tyler will talk about how the bible says the words "worship" and "praise" hundreds of times, but what do these words actually mean? Romans 12 gives us a clear definition of how the Christian ought to worship God in our daily lives. Here's a hint; it's a lot more than just music!

At our South campus, Pastor Valerie Salkeld will encourage us to live specifically. She'll be looking at Matthew 7:13-14 to see what Jesus meant by a narrow road. She'll connect this as we look back at our Bible reading plan from Deuteronomy last week.

Hello Everyone!

At our South campus this Sunday, Pastor Valerie Salkeld will talk about how what we think about work will lead to how we think about others and generosity. Valerie will preach from Ecclesiastes 5:8-20.

At our North campus, we'll welcome Todd and Krystal Wawrzyniak who are reaching out to the Indigenous Peoples of Canada and the USA. The Wawrzyniaks have been seconded to Indian Life Ministries. They will ask the question, "Is God's economy different from man's economy? As citizens of heaven, we are to conduct ourselves in a manner worthy of the Good News about Christ. They will use Philippians 1:27 as their key verse.

Also at our North campus, we'll celebrate Communion. If you join us online, please make sure to have your elements ready.
